November is a stunning time in the Snowy Mountains, with glacial lakes and unique flora and fauna and mountains as far are the eye can see.

DAY ONE - Sydney to Wilsons Valley (Snowy Mountains)
Our tour starts from Sydney Central Station at 9am for Goulburn, where you may purchase an early lunch. Then it’s back in the coach to head for the wonderful Snowy Mountains.
Early afternoon you will stop off in Cooma where you will head to the Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre on the edge of town. You will be given a tour of the facility giving an overview of how the scheme actually works.
Then back on the coach and continue to Ski Rider Hotel, Wilsons Valley.
Once you have checked into your hotel, you can come up to our restaurant for a glass of wine (own expense) before dinner. There you can meet the staff and get to know fellow passengers on the tour.
Dinner tonight, a hearty dinner selection in the bistro.
After dinner you may relax in your room, join others for a drink (own expense)in the bar, or have a game of pool.

DAY TWO - Smiggins, Perisher & Charlottes Pass
After a hearty breakfast we hop on the bus for a short trip to the Gaden Trout Hatchery where you will have a guided tour and discover how cold water sport fish are bred. Then it is back on the coach for a scenic drive through the mountains looking at Smiggins, Perisher and Charlottes Pass. We’ll have morning tea at Charlottes Pass provided by our driver and Ski Rider Hotel Chef.
Then to the lookout at Charlotte Pass where you will be able to take some great scenic pictures of Australia’s highest peak, Mount Kosciuszko.
It's then back to the hotel for a set lunch.
The afternoon is your choice to explore nearby walks or relax at the hotel or board the coach to go into Jindabyne township and explore the lake edge and the local shopping.

DAY THREE - Snowy Hydro System
First stop is the village of Berridale for a town tour of historical sites including Gedgezerick Church. You alight at the Berridale Historical society for an informative discussion of area highlights and review the interesting displays.
You will then travel by coach passing over the Eucumbene Dam wall on your way to visit the Snowy Hydro System with a visit to the Snowy Scheme Museum at Adaminaby. This is an informative display celebrating the people and the power of the scheme. This peaceful town is where you will also have morning tea.
The day continues with a trip to Dalgety an historic country town and the only town remaining along the banks of the Snowy River where you will have lunch at the famous Dalgety pub (Buckley’s Crossing Hotel).
You travel onward through farming country back to the hotel.

DAY FOUR - Thredbo Village, Wildbrumby Distillery
We start the day by heading to the Jindabyne Visitors Centre at 9.00 am for a short film and an opportunity to explore the centre. We then head off for the mountains, first stop Thredbo Village. The group are able to enjoy morning tea beside the Thredbo river. You then have the option of a chair lift ride or a stroll around the village.
Then you are off to the Wildbrumby Distillery for tastings of their locally produced schnapps, gin and vodka. We will have lunch at the Wildbrumby Café.
After a big day of all that sightseeing we head back to the hotel.
Dinner tonight will be served in Guppies Bar and Grill with a choice of fine cut meats, salads, and vegetable selection.

DAY FIVE - Return to Sydney via Cooma
Today is an early breakfast before setting off for the journey home via Cooma. First stop will be Cooma Gaol which was constructed from 1870 in local granite and is still a functioning correctional facility today. You will receive a tour of the living museum by suitable inmates. You will have morning tea at the Gaol before boarding the coach.
We will board the coach and head to Canberra for a short sightseeing tour and lunch at Queanbeyan Leagues Club.
After lunch we will board the coach and will arrive in Sydney approximately 5.00 pm.
