Day 1:
Depart Brisbane Roma Street on your rail journey to Maryborough onboard the Tilt Train. On arrival at Maryborough railway Station you will be transferred by coach to River Heads for your ferry transfer to Fraser Island, your home for the next 4 nights. Once you've checked into your room, you'll have time to unpack and relax or explore the resort. Late this afternoon, make your way to the Sunset Bar and enjoy a complimentary drink. Sit back and relax as you watch the changing colours of the day's sunset. Tonight, you'll get a chance to meet your fellow travellers over a group Welcome Dinner.
Day 2:
This morning, buffet breakfast is served from 6:30am-7:30am. Today is free for you to explore the resort or just sit back and relax.
Want to book an optional tour today? We recommend the Fraser Island's beauty spots on a full day 4WD Island tour. Visit Lake McKenzie, Central Station, Wanggoolba Creek. 75 Mile Beach, Eli Creek, the Maheno Shipwreck and Stonetool Sandblow. A buffet lunch at Eurong Beach Resort is included. From $200 per person.
Day 3:
Today, buffet breakfast is served from 6:30am-7:30am. This morning, you'll venture out on the Sea Explorer Marine Wildlife Cruise, which provides you with a unique eco-experience as you explore the untouched paradise of the remote surrounding islands of the Great Sandy National Park. Join a Resort Ranger as they showcase remarkable, untouched landscapes and offer guided walks and talks as you explore this natural paradise. You may spot marine life along the way - including turtles, dugongs and dolphins, plus a range of coastal and migratory birds. Wander along the white sands and take the opportunity to swim through crystal-clear waterways.
This afternoon enjoy a Ranger guided bush tucker talk. On this gentle walk, discover bush foods in the resort grounds and their use in everyday Butchulla life.
Day 4:
Today, buffet breakfast is served from 6:30am-9:30am. This morning, join a Ranger guided beach walk . Discover the soldier crabs, leaden snails and stingray holes - together we explore the marine life on Fraser’s western side and walk to the mangrove estuary system of Dundonga Creek.
Your afternoon is free for you to explore the resort or just sit back and relax.
Want to book an optional tour today? The Bush Tucker Talk and Taste is a a great option where you will learn about and experience the local bush tucker. Nibble on native berries bursting with flavour and relish in the refreshing citrus of lemon myrtle as the Chef and Resort Ranger explain how these ingredients can be utilised in cooking. From $25 per person.
This evening, enjoy a group Farewell Dinner served in the Seabelle Restaurant.
Day 5:
Sadly your Fraser Island getaway ends today. Today, buffet breakfast is served from 6:30am-7:30am. After checking out of your room, you will be transferred from Fraser Island to River Heads and then onto Maryborough to catch the Tilt Train back to Brisbane.
