Day 1: Arrive Cairns
Arrive in Cairns and settle into the comfort of the Oaks Cairns Hotel. Take it easy, strolling along the Esplanade or simply unwinding at the hotel. Enjoy a leisurely evening and prepare for the adventures awaiting you in the coming days.
Day 2: Coastal Wonders – Cape Tribulation, Daintree & Mossman Gorge
Embark on a full-day tour venturing to the breathtaking wonders of Cape Tribulation, Daintree Rainforest, and Mossman Gorge. Enjoy morning tea and a guided walk at Mossman Gorge, before embarking on a Daintree River Cruise where you will have the opportunity to see local birds, tree snakes, unique plants and of course the estuarine crocodile. Feast on a tropical BBQ lunch before enjoying some time exploring where the reef meets the rainforest and be rewarded with unsurpassed views of the coastal ranges at the Kulki lookout.
Day 3: Leisure Day or Optional Green Island Cruise
Today is yours to design. Relax at your own pace or opt into a half-day Green Island Cruise (Additional Cost $106 per person). Snorkel through the vibrant coral reefs, take a glass-bottom boat tour, or simply bask in the sun on this tropical paradise before heading back to the hotel.
Day 4: Scenic Rail & Skyrail Adventure – Kuranda
Set out on a picturesque journey aboard the Kuranda Scenic Railway, winding through lush rainforest and striking landscapes. Explore the charming village of Kuranda, known for its lively markets, arts scene and animal sanctuaries. Return to Cairns via the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, offering unparalleled panoramic views.
Day 5: Depart Cairns
Savour a delicious breakfast at the hotel, reflecting on the memorable experiences of your Cairns adventure. Before departing, take a stroll through Cairn’s vibrant shopping districts, explore local boutiques and markets, visit a local museum or art gallery, or enjoy one last meal overlooking the Coral Sea on the Cairns Esplanade.
