Port Douglas - an hour's drive north of Cairns is the village of Port Douglas, with untouched beaches and easy access to the Daintree Rainforest. The village is known for its sophisticated dining, excellent shopping and barefoot luxe vibe.

Cairns - is the main city in the region and you can board cruises to the Great Barrier Reef, catch the Skyrail or Kuranda Scenic Railway to the Atherton Tableland, catch a ferry to unspoilt islands or visit the trendy cafes to taste the local delicacies.
Great Barrier Reef - enjoy a full day cruise to the world's largest and longest coral reef system, stretching for 2,300km from the tip of Cape York in the north to Bundaberg in the south. A World Heritage Area since 1981 , it is highly protected and one of the best-managed marine areas on Earth.
