This package includes:
Day 1: Depart from Sydney and within a flight of four hours, you will land on the sunny island of Port Vila. Our friendly local representatives will be there to greet you and help you reach the resort comfortably. Check in, soak in the views of the island and the ocean from the balcony!
Days 2-5: The Iririki Island Resort is one of the largest and most luxurious beachside holiday retreats for the international traveller in Vanuatu! The resort’s main restaurant is set by the water’s edge and features noveau fusion cuisine with world-famous Santo beef and fresh produce. Then, there are four more bars and restaurants to check out on your holiday, ranging from poolside bars to an Italian pizza café.
The first tour in your holiday package is great for first-time visitors to Port Vila as well as repeat travellers. A short, sweet introduction to Port Vila, travellers will come across key landmarks and highlights such as the Parliament House, the Cultural Centre, jails and hospitals from the bygone colonial era, and many more hotspots. You’ll learn about the history of Vanuatu and the British/French influence on the island and its culture. You’ll also get a run-down on the best places to shop, dine and sight-see on your holiday.
Our second tour will take you to the lovely Mele Cascade Falls. Guests are greeted by a friendly guide at your hotel and the tour starts straight away. Enjoy a pleasant drive just out of town past Mele Village and the guide will provide commentary on the 15 min transfer to the entrance of Mele Cascades & Waterfall. Enjoy a guided tour through the lush & tropical rainforest where you will be able to catch sight of local cultivation of vegetable gardens and learn about the culture and livelihood of the local people. Go for a dip in the clear natural rock pools for a refreshing swim or you can simply relax and enjoy the green scenery. At the waterfalls’ base, there will be an array of tropical seasonal fruits and cold drinks awaiting you, served on the Mele Cascades overwater deck! Soft drinks, alcohol beverages and snacks can be purchased from the pool bar.
Whilst at the resort, travellers can choose from plenty of activities in and round the resort and the town. The white sand beach is perfect for lounging about or reading a book under a shady palm tree – if you’re not swimming and snorkelling in its clear, electric-blue waters. Sign up for a catamaran sailing cruise around the beautiful Mele Bay or a snorkelling safari around the renowned Snorkellers’ Cove. Cricket, snooker and pool volleyball enthusiasts will find ready players amongst the staff and locals. You can also go bicycling and hiking around the island and Port Vila’s countryside.
All in all, our Vanuatu holiday package offers a kaleidoscopic mix of adventure, culture, nature and hospitality, delivering on the promise of treating you to an out-of-the-box South Pacific destination.
Day 6: Depart from resort with our friendly local representative who will make sure you reach the international airport comfortably and then fly back to Sydney with lots of memories.
