Day 1: Land at Norfolk airport and meet our friendly resort representative who will help with transfers to your apartment. Relax, catch up on the telly, turn in for the night and get set to live to the fullest for the next few days!
Days 2-7: You can choose to take it as relaxed as possible or stuff your itinerary with activities, tours and experiences! For starters, you can decide on what to do after soaking in the three exclusive Travel at 60 island tours – it’s a great way to work out what you want to do from the scores of activities and tours available on Norfolk Island. Over one-third of the island is National Park territory, so walks and hikes are excellent.
As a Travel at 60 special, we've also included two additional tours of Norfolk where you can get to know more about the island's rich tapestry of history. The ‘Untold Story’ tour is a light and sound show of Norfolk's history. It highlights how 194 people undertook a sea-voyage of 3,700 miles to reach Norfolk and their struggles back in 1856. It's a touching testament to human courage and grit against the worst odds. The other is the Kingston Convict Tour where travellers can learn about World Heritage listed Kingston. Over the course of a three-hour tour, soak in how the first Polynesians settlers came about over 900 years ago, the facts and legends associated with them, the infamous Bounty mutiny while on a walk through the historic cemetery.
Then, swimming and snorkelling are fantastic off the Emily Beach, as is Slaughter Bay. Golfers will not be disappointed either – the greens on this island rival any course in the world for technicality as well as views. For a daytrip, we recommend taking a boat trip to Phillip Island or visiting the Convict Ruins, a World Heritage listed site. You can also take advantage of the car rental facility and explore Norfolk on your own – ask us about adding a car-hire! The Captain Cook look-out is a great drive and picnic spot, too. Fishing enthusiasts will find the jetty just perfect for the big catch of the day while there are plenty of yoga and chi classes to join locally.
Day 8: Depart on your flight home. We hope to see you back again very soon!

About Norfolk Island
Norfolk Island is a remote isle in the Pacific Ocean, set between Australia, New Caledonia and New Zealand. Beautiful rolling plains, forest-covered hills, long swathes of beaches and a rich history make this destination much sought-after. Its small, close-knit community, friendly locals, abundant activities and cultural events keep Norfolk lively like you won’t believe! As a former penal colony, Norfolk Island is a dream for history lovers, who won't want to miss the museums in Kingston. There is also plenty of shopping opportunities, as Norfolk doesn’t have as many taxes as Australia and New Zealand. Wine n’ dine options are also excellent, ranging from budget outlet to gourmet restaurants with great views of the coast. Keep an eye out for daily events – there’s so much to see, do and experience while in Norfolk!
