T​OUR -Anchorage to Fairbanks

• D​ay 8: Step off your ship and board a catamaran for a scenic journey to Valdez. Continue via motorcoach to the Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge. End your day with a relaxing dinner at the Two Rivers Restaurant.
• D​ay 9: Board your comfortable motorcoach for a scenic drive that takes you to the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge. Hear stories about climbing Denali in the Hudson Theater or roast a marshmallow at the fireside patio.
• D​ay 10: You have a full day to plan however you choose. Stop by the Tour Desk to book a variety of optional excursions. Walk the nature trails around the lodge or sit and gaze at the majesty of "The Great One" from the lodge's treehouse, designed and built by Pete Nelson of Animal Planet's Treehouse Masters.
• D​ay 11: Between the two Denali lodges is some of Alaska's most beautiful scenery. Sightsee by motorcoach to Talkeetna then enjoy Princess Rail service to the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, situated a short shuttle ride away from spectacular Denali National Park. Easy trails link the various places to shop and dine in this campus setting
• D​ay 12: Explore Denali National Park on a Tundra Wilderness Tour, watching for glimpses of Denali as well as Denali's "Big Five"; bears, moose, caribou, wolves and Dall sheep. Later today, you may want to simply relax with a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the Nenana River.
• D​ay 13: Enjoy a leisurely morning before your motorcoach trip to Fairbanks for a 1-night stay. Take a cruise on an authentic Sternwheeler Riverboat down the Chena River. Overnight at the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge.
• D​ay 14: Your tour ends in Fairbanks, but your memories of this trip will last a lifetime!

Clothing Suggestions:

Alaska is very casual both in the evenings, as well as the day. Casual, active sportswear is the best option, as you will likely be enjoying tours and activities outdoors. You'll want comfortable clothes and good walking shoes, and the ability to be layered for everything from sunny afternoons to chilly nights. As the weather can be unpredictable, a warm jacket is advisable.
