Commemorating the 1856 arrival of Pitcairn Islanders - descendants of the Bounty mutineers and Tahitian women - Bounty Day features local families dressed in period costume arriving by longboat at Kingston Pier, followed by a traditional procession through the World Heritage-listed Kingston and Arthur’s Vale Historic Area. Afterwards, enjoy morning tea and a traditional island-style picnic lunch in beautiful Kingston, with complimentary champagne, orange juice, tea, and coffee.
This eight-day adventure also includes a comprehensive itinerary of tours, meals and experiences as well as daily breakfast and car hire.

Day 1 - Sat 6 Jun 2026: Depart Brisbane
Today you’ll check in at Brisbane International Airport for your short flight to Norfolk Island. On arrival you’ll be transferred to Ocean Breeze Cottages - your home for the next 7 nights. These one-bedroom, self-contained cottages each have a modern kitchen, en-suite bathroom, separate bedroom and open plan living area plus outstanding ocean views overlooking Phillip Island from the deck of your cottage. Your hire car will be waiting for you at the accommodation. Tonight its just a very short drive to Governor’s Lodge where a 2 course Welcome Dinner awaits you. With the freedom of your own hire car this week you can explore as much as you like in your free time. Included meals: dinner.
Day 2 - Sun 7 June 2026
This morning you’ll be collected by coach for the Island Life Tour. Spend the morning touring Norfolk Island, gaining a true insight into the intricate nature of modern island life. Your guide will share the latest information on the island's ethnic groups, nationalities and languages spoken, including the Norfolk Island indigenous language. Morning tea is included, and the tour will conclude with lunch at the Boatshed Restaurant at Governor’s Lodge. You’ll be transferred back to Ocean Breeze after lunch (or you might like a short walk uphill to walk off your lunch). This evening make your way down the hill a short distance to Hilli Restaurant for a 2-course dinner. Included meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Day 3 - Mon 8 June 2026: Happy Bounty Day!
Today after breakfast at The Boatshed, drive to the Pinetree Tours pick up zone and the bus will take you to the Bounty Day Celebrations. Experience Norfolk Island’s most iconic event as the descendants of the Bounty Mutineers re-enact their historic landing in full period costume. Enjoy morning tea and a traditional island-style picnic lunch with complimentary champagne, orange juice, tea, and coffee. A truly unforgettable cultural celebration. Dinner tonight is own arrangements. Included Meals: breakfast & lunch.
Day 4 - Tue 9 June 2026
This morning after breakfast at The Boatshed you’ll join the History in the Making tour. Learn about how the Polynesians arrived on Norfolk Island and how they lived. Understand how the convicts toiled and endured those challenging times. Discover how the Pitcairn Islanders settled here and formed the community we know today. Enjoy a hands-on demonstration of flax and shingle making, visit a private museum showcasing artifacts from across the years. Morning tea is included. The afternoon is at leisure - you might like to explore the shops in the Burnt Pine area. Norfolk Island is a duty-free and GST-free shopping haven where you’ll find everything from sporting goods and imported shoes to cosmetics, jewellery and artwork. This evening, enjoy the Island Feast Dinner. Step into the heart of Norfolk Island's food culture as we uncover the traditional cooking methods from the dirt ovens of Tahiti known as "ahima'a" and follow the journey of these dishes as they were transformed by the by the Pitcairn Islanders. Day 5 - Wed 10 Jun 2026
Breakfast Bushwalk - offers a refreshing adventure in the great outdoors, followed by a delicious breakfast. For those seeking a leisurely stroll, explore the lush Palm Glen Reserve or, for the more active, take a leisurely 3.5 km walk through scenic Mt. Bates (the highest point on the island) to Captain Cook Monument. After the walk, gather on the clifftop for a scrumptious breakfast barbecue. Returning into town, the rest of the morning is at leisure. This afternoon we suggest you make use of your Museum passes. The pass includes multiple entries to all museums at any time during your stay, as well as two free guided Tag-A-Long tours. These tours include a guided journey behind the scenes, to reveal additional stories from the museum collection and Norfolk's history. For dinner tonight, make your way to the Pinetree Tours loading zone to join the Progressive Dinner. Over the course of the evening, you'll enjoy a delicious 3-course meal, with each course served at a different family home. Each home has been carefully selected to showcase the island's rich culture and history, and each dinner host has a sensational story to tell. This is your chance to savour authentic home-cooked meals and learn about the island's rich culinary traditions from your hosts. Included Meals: breakfast & dinner.
Day 6 - Thu 11 June 2026
After breakfast, drive to Emily Bay and meet Don and George from Christian’s Glaas Bohtam Boets for a one hour cruise. The journey begins with dry feet thanks to a clever beach trailer that doubles as a jetty. View incredible coral gardens in crystal clear water, over 100 species of fish, vast marine life and their habitats, all topped with friendly cheerful Norfolk humour by 7th generation Bounty descendant guides. This evening get ready for a night of delicious food, live music, and stunning views with the Island Fish Fry. For over 40 years, this incredible event has been serving up a feast of local dishes, salads, homemade bread and fresh fried fish, followed by dessert, tea or coffee. Watch the sun set from Pinetree Tours' exclusive property 'Orn Daa Cliff' on the beautiful western coastline and enjoy some local entertainment when the Baunti Byuutis take the stage to entertain you with their captivating traditional dance performances. Day 7 - Fri 12 June 2026
Breakfast is again at the Boatshed today. During the morning head down to Hilli Restaurant for their famous Devonshire Tea followed by a visit to Fletcher’s Mutiny Cyclorama. This amazing 360° panoramic painting brings to life the history of the Norfolk Island people and their connection with the infamous mutiny on the ‘Bounty’. An outstanding attraction, this stunning 360° panoramic painting with realistic 3D effects has been impressing visitors with its ‘wow’ factor for over 18 years. The rest of the day is at leisure. This evening take a drive out to The Homestead restaurant for a sumptuous dinner in a delightful island home which has been in the owner’s family for over 40 years. Included Meals: breakfast & dinner
Day 8 - Sat 13 June 2026: Farewell from Norfolk
Following breakfast, enjoy some free time before your transfer to the airport to catch your flight home. Included Meals: breakfast.

Fitness to Travel: A reasonable level of fitness is required for some activities provided in this package, including embarking and disembarking of aircraft which may be by stairs on the tarmac. Other examples include (not limited to) embarking and disembarking coaches, vehicles, boats, jetty or beaches. It is your responsibility to advise any mobility constraints at time of booking.
Flight departs from the international terminal. It is recommended to arrive at least 2 hours prior to departure. Photographic ID such as an Australian Driver Licence or Proof of Age card, is required (including for children). Passports are not required when travelling from Australia but are recommended.

Norfolk Island has 4G coverage however at times you may not be able to use the Internet. Most accommodation properties have a “HotSpot” on their premises. HotSpots work similarly to wifi enabling access when you’re in wifi range. Additional HotSpots are located throughout town and at various places on the Island which will also provide you internet when in range. HotSpot cards are available from Norfolk Island Telecom and a variety of stores when you arrive on the Island.
