10 September 2024 – Rocky Mountaineer
Transfer to the station and embark the Rocky Mountaineer train. Enjoy breakfast on board along with a full day of sightseeing. Your journey will take you past dramatic changes in scenery from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests to the Coast and Cascade mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Enjoy lunch on board as well as complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages throughout your journey. Disembark at Kamloops station and transfer to your hotel for your overnight stay.
11 September 2024 – Rocky Mountaineer
This morning, transfer to Kamloops station and re-board your train for another exciting day’s sightseeing. Breakfast will be provided on the train and today you will continue west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. Your journey will continue through the Canadian Rockies scenery between glaciers, snow-capped peaks, mountain passes and through incredible tunnels. Highlights on this day will include the Continental Divide, the spiral tunnels, Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. Disembark and overnight at your hotel in Banff this evening.
