Tuesday: Arrive Emerald
Make your own way to Emerald (Travel at 60 are happy to assist with flights) and on arrival you will be transferred to your accommodation.

Wednesday: Spirit of the Outback - Emerald to Longreach
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before embarking on the Spirit of the Outback train journey to Longreach.
8:45am depart Emerald - take in the spectacular scenery from your window in the comfort of an economy seat. Relax in the lounge and enjoy quality takeaway meals and beverages from the Galley.
7:30pm arrive Longreach.On arrival into Longreach you will be met by a representative from Outback Pioneers and transferred to your accommodation.This evening is at leisure

Thursday: Cobb and Co Stagecoach Experience, Starlight’s Cruise Experience
6.45am The day starts with a big buffet breakfast at The Welcome Home (a couple of minutes walk from your room).
From 8.30am Wait outside The Welcome Home for the amazing Cobb & Co Stagecoach Experience (see your ticket for the start time). You’ll board a real stagecoach for a ride on the old Longreach to Windorah mail route through the bush. You’ll step back in time as the stagecoach rumbles across the dusty track. Enjoy home-baked scones and tea in our tearoom, followed by a classic Aussie bush movie in the old theatrette.
At 12pm watch the Harry Redford Old Time Tent Show with a billy-can lunch.
1.00pm This afternoon there’s time to explore Eagle Street (the main street of Longreach), especially the The Station Store, a fantastic outback emporium that transports you back to the heyday of the general stores that sold everything. Walk back to your accommodation.
From 4.30pm Be ready outside The Welcome Home again for your transfer to the Thomson River and the start of our Starlight’s Cruise Experience. Board our historic paddle wheeler or riverboat for a sunset cruise. The cruise is followed by a hearty stockman’s dinner around the campfire with bush entertainment, then the Starlight’s Spectacular Sound-and-Light Picture Show featuring a special movie commissioned by the Kinnon family to celebrate our legendary local hero Harry Redford. BYO alcoholic drinks and a jacket for cold outback evenings. Arrive back at your accommodation by approximately 9pm.
Friday: Nogo Station Experience, Qantas Founders Museum, Stone grill® Dining Experience
The first day takes you from your accommodation to the real heart of outback life at the Kinnon’s historic Nogo Station. Be inspired and entertained by stories of pioneering life and working station reality with your Kinnon host. Marvel at the merino story in the historic shearing sheds. Experience the incredible station safari in an open-top, double-decker bus. Visit Captain Starlight’s stockyards and have traditional ‘smoko’ under the gum trees.
Transfer to the QANTAS Founders Museum (entry included). Take your time to enjoy the museum and 90-minute Jet Tour. Time to freshen up before your Stonegrill® dining experience at The Welcome Home.
Saturday: Winton Discovery Day Tour
It’s a 6.45am start for a full-day tour to Winton. Visit the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum and Dinosaur Canyon plus the Waltzing Matilda Centre. Enjoy lunch at the historic North Gregory Hotel and take a stroll down the Main Street before returning to Longreach. Dine at Longreach’s local Chinese restaurant in the evening.

Sunday: Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame
Visit the iconic Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the five galleries before lunch at the museum café (at your own cost). Return to your accommodation and decide on dinner. Try a local restaurant or order takeaway...
Monday: Depart Longreach
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before being transferred to the Airport. You will be leaving with lots of amazing memories.

Concession Cards: All concession card numbers must be advised at the time of booking and a copy of both sides of your card is to be sent to Travel at 60 once your booking is confirmed. Any customers who do not provide a concession number will be charged the adult fare.
QLD Pension Entitlements: Queensland resident pension card holders are entitled to four (4) rail travel entitlements each calendar year. Additional fare applies for any Queensland Pensioners who have used their rail travel entitlements. A copy of both sides of your card is to be sent to Travel at 60 once your booking is confirmed. Any customers who do not provide a concession number will be charged the adult fare.
