14 - 24 Apr 2020 - Departing and returning to Sydney
Packing your bag is the last thing to do before your adventure. Make sure you’ve got everything you need for the best holiday ever! Whether you need help deciding which shoes to pack or what size of suitcase to bring, we can help you out with a few handy tips!
Hand Luggage - There are a few things that are best kept close at hand, in your hand luggage.
Keep it casual
When the sun’s out you can keep it casual. After 5.30pm smart casual clothing is required in the public lounges and restaurants or as published in the ship’s newsletter, Good Times. Decks can be slippery so low-heeled, rubber soled shoes are recommended along with comfortable walking shoes for going ashore. Shoes must be worn at all times in restaurants. Swimwear is only permitted around the pool and open deck areas. There are two dress codes for the restaurants; smart casual and cocktail.
Dress for dinner
Dress up and have fun! Every evening onboard should be a special occasion whether you’re grabbing a quick drink or having a leisurely dinner. If it’s after 5:30pm, smart casual clothing is required in the public lounges and restaurants. That means skirts, dresses, pants and blouses for women. For men it’s long trousers and a polo or collared shirt.
Classic drinks, classy clothes
The drinks are delicious and the vibe is fancy so you better frock up for the cocktail evenings! Women are required to wear evening or cocktail dress. Men are required to suit up or wear similar and ties are optional. These evenings will be announced in the ships newsletter, the Good Times. So you have an idea of how many fabulous outfits to pack, we’ve provided a rough guide. For cruises between 3-7 nights there will be 1-2 cocktail evenings. For cruises between 7-13 nights there will be 2 cocktail evenings and for cruises 14 days or more there will be a minimum of 3 cocktail evenings. Please note that if the cruise is less than 2 nights there will not be any cocktail nights.
Each guest may bring onboard a maximum of 12 canned drinks loosely packed in carry-on (hand) luggage. All luggage, including checked in luggage, will be x-rayed at embarkation.
The following beverage items cannot be brought onboard :
Disembarkation is staggered and normally begins at approximately 30 minutes after the ships arrival in port. During your cruise you will be asked to complete a disembarkation questionnaire with your post cruise travel arrangements so you can be allocated a disembarkation group and time. You will be advised of your allocated time to disembark the day before arrival. Disembarkation is normally completed within three (3) hours of the ships arrival, however, this can vary. For this reason, if you have post cruise flights, we recommend your flight departs no earlier than five (5) hours after your cruise is scheduled to arrive in port.
