Day 1 Saturday 25 January 2025
Flights depart from Brisbane International Airport, arriving onto Norfolk Island, be transferred as a group to your accommodation for the next 7 nights. Governor's Lodge - in a One Bedroom Cabin with Balcony including breakfast daily.
This evening, enjoy a group dinner at Grosvenor’s Lodge.
Day 2 Sunday 26 January 2025
Enjoy breakfast this morning, prior to being transferred to the Sunday Arts & Craft Markets. Spend time wandering the stalls to see the local arts. Moving onto Bumboras Bay much loved by locals, its a small secluded beach with waters so clear you can see right to the bottom. Return to your accommodation in time for a two course lunch at the Boatshed. You have free time this afternoon prior to dinner at the Garden Restaurant & Bar at Paradise Hotel & Resort.
Day 3 Monday 27 January 2025
Spend a delightful day touring Norfolk Island, gaining a true insight into the intricate nature of modern island life. Tour includes morning tea and lunch with drink.
This evening enjoy a 3 course progressive dinner - visiting different Norfolk Island family homes. A fun night and a great way of meeting locals and sampling island dishes.
Day 4 Tuesday 28 January 2025
This morning take a unique opportunity to bring history to life and "see" the convicts who served their time on Norfolk Island. Walk in their footsteps and hear their stories. This afternoon enjoy free time to explore the Island at leisure or rest and relax at the hotel.
Come and join us for a night on the Bounty. This world-famous story will be told by a cast of actors hosted at a theatre restaurant. Let us take you on a journey from England to Tahiti. This fun, factual and interactive dinner show will tell the story of life that led to the Mutiny on the Bounty. Join us for a night of feasting, frivolity and a lot of laughs. The cast of this amazing feature show will have you enthralled as we all sail with Captain Bligh and the Mutineers from the famous Bounty.
Day 5 Wednesday 29 January 2025
Old cemeteries, burial grounds, and unmarked graves provide us with a valuable and fascinating record of our dear and distant past. This morning take a guided tour of the Old Burial Grounds and learn the history of previous residents of the Island. Lunch is at own expense, you may want something light as early this afternoon if the Bailey’s Tea Party.
Governor's Lodge invites you to have a hilli (Norfolk for being very relaxed or a little lazy) and to join the long-established favourite of afternoon tea which has been re-imagined for Bailey’s Restaurant on Norfolk. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine on arrival and spend the afternoon with friends new or old as you partake in a selection of sweet and savoury delights and tea or coffee. Enjoy a mouth-watering array of tasty treats, including the traditional favourites like mini-scones and finger sandwiches plus scrumptious hot and cold savouries and delicious delicacies.
The rest of the afternoon and evening is at leisure.
Day 6 Thursday 30 January 2025
Visiting 100 Acres Reserve offers peaceful walks amid nature, wander to Rocky Point, home to an observations post during World War II - now a favourite fishing spot for locals.
This afternoon On Taste of Norfolk you will meet first hand some passionate local producers. Meet a local salt maker, making sea salt from the pristine oceans that surround our beautiful island and taste our local beef. Enjoy a cooking demonstration and tasting of traditional dishes handed down by our Tahitian foremothers and taste the local green banana fritters. Have a look at the beginning of a tea industry. Norfolk tea has a beautiful blend of teas to taste. Iced Berry, Earl Grey and Masala Chai, just to name a few. Visit a local bee keeper where you will view flow hives and learn about local honey bees as well as a tasting of local honey and fruit.
This evening, get ready for a night of delicious food, live music and stunning views on Norfolk Island. The Island Fish Fry is a must do event for everyone visiting the island.
Day 7 Friday 31 January 2025
Explore Norfolk Island's geological marvels in all their natural beauty. These spectacular formations are a result from the island's volcanic creation, three million years ago. Sheer rugged cliffs, outcrops of basalt and volcanic residue are examined. Be expertly guided through the beauty and characteristics of the island's delightful native, endemic and introduced species of trees and shrubs, plants and palms, ferns, flowers and fruits. These include the iconic Norfolk Island Pine. See examples of Norfolk's resident and migratory bird life. Possibly see or hear the call of the endangered Norfolk Island Green Parrot. All will be explained on this not to be missed tour.
Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. This evening enjoy a 3 course Farewell Dinner at Bailey’s Restaurant.

Fitness to Travel: A reasonable level of fitness is required for some activities provided in this package, including embarking and disembarking of aircraft which may be by stairs on the tarmac. Other examples include (not limited to) embarking and disembarking coaches, vehicles, boats, jetty or beaches. It is your responsibility to advise any mobility constraints at time of booking.
Flight departs from the international terminal. It is recommended to arrive at least 2 hours prior to departure. Photographic ID such as an Australian Driver Licence or Proof of Age card, is required (including for children). Passports are not required when travelling from Australia but are recommended.

Norfolk Island has 4G coverage however at times you may not be able to use the Internet. Most accommodation properties have a “HotSpot” on their premises. HotSpots work similarly to wifi enabling access when you’re in wifi range. Additional HotSpots are located throughout town and at various places on the Island which will also provide you internet when in range. HotSpot cards are available from Norfolk Island Telecom and a variety of stores when you arrive on the Island.
