Day 1-Wednesday - Depart Brisbane.
Make your way to Roma Street station to board the Spirit of Queensland

Day 2- Thursday -Arrive Cairns
Today, sit back and relax as you travel through the picturesque scenery onward to Cairns your final destination.
On arrival into Cairns, transfer from the train station to the Pacific Hotel Cairns your home for the next 4 nights.
Day 3 - Friday - Green Island
Enjoy breakfast to the hotel this morning prior to heading to the marina to be transferred to Green Island. You have 2 hours to explore the island with your choice of snorkel gear hire or glass bottom boat tour.
A Cairns Dinner Cruise is the perfect way to end a perfect day in paradise. Step aboard the luxury catamaran Spirit of Cairns for a night of dining, entertainment, and panoramic mountain and city views. Throughout the evening you cruise the calm water inlet and waterfront precinct of Cairns, whilst enjoying fabulous dining, live music, and (optional!) dancing after dinner.
Day 4- Saturday - Free day
Today is free for you to explore Cairns. Enjoy a relaxing breakfast before heading off to discover the many hidden gems in Cairns.
Day 5- Sunday - Kuranda Rail & Skyrail
The tour driver will meet you at your accommodation, check you in for your tour and issue your Kuranda Boarding Pass. The pass includes a detailed itinerary, pre-allocated preferential Kuranda Scenic Rail seating, map of Kuranda and discounted entry into selected attractions.
Kuranda Scenic Rail: Board the famous train for an amazing journey, as you travel one of the world's most scenic rail routes. Take in the spectacular views as you wind through hand-hewn tunnels and over bridges spanning spectacular gorges.
Kuranda Village: Upon arrival in Kuranda, free time is allowed to do your own exploring in the village– visit the Heritage Markets, local cafes and shops, or why not take advantage of the exclusive Kuranda discounts on your Kuranda Boarding Pass!
Skyrail Rainforest Cableway: Board Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for your journey to Smithfield. Once aboard you will be amazed as you glide silently over & through the rainforest. There are 2 stations enroute where you can alight and enjoy a walk through the Rainforest to spectacular lookouts; take in the amazing views of Barron Falls from The Edge Lookout, and visit the Rainforest Discovery Zone at Red Peak Station.
Coach departs for return hotel transfers.
Day 6- Monday - Homeward Bound
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel prior to being transferred to the Cairns airport to catch your flight home.

Spirit of Queensland (RailBed) - A spacious and comfortable seat by day that converts to a lie-flat bed at night. Enjoy 35 degrees of recline and a wide flat 18.5 inch screen with on-demand entertainment options including movies and music. Pacific Hotel Cairns - Located on the Esplanade overlooking Trinity Harbour, Pacific Hotel Cairns offers stunning views from private balconies and easy access to the nearby Reef Fleet Terminal, shopping precinct and Esplanade Lagoon. With modern rooms offering comfortable accommodation for all travellers.

Accessibility - Accessible spaces and accessible Premium Economy Seats/RailBeds are available in Car E and Car B as well as signage with raised text, braille and hearing aid loops. Accessible shower/toilet located in the RailBed carriage Band Premium Economy carriage E. Most types of mobility devices can be accommodated on Spirit of Queensland services, however size restrictions do apply. In general, these dimension limits are 720 mm wide by1200 mm long on the Spirit of Queensland.
Please note that Queensland Rail periodically conduct planned and unplanned maintenance to tracks throughout the Queensland Rail network. Disruptions caused by this is out of our control. We will endeavour to advise you as soon as possible of the situation and alternative travel options.
