Day 1: Land at the Nadi International Airport and meet your point of contact at the transfers counter. He’ll guide you to the coach that will take you to Port Denarau marina, where you’ll board the scheduled catamaran transfer to the resort island in the Mamanucas.

After winding about the little green motus dotting the azure waters, disembark at the island and check in. You’ll be met with traditional shell lei greetings and welcome drinks.

The island is yours to explore. Resort activities include nature walks that will take travellers into the bush and learn about native medicinal plants and herbs. Then, there are lessons on traditional cooking and basket weaving for interested guests. Feeling restless? Jump into the wonderfully warm waters with the resort’s complimentary kayaks or team up for a bracing game of tennis, mini golf and volleyball and more. To wind down, the resort has an excellent traditional Fijian spa where you can book a relaxing spa.

For gastronomes, the resort welcomes you to Ol’ Copra Shed and the Tavola Restaurant & Bar. Both offer excellent breakfast and all-day-dining options. There is also the Black Coral Grill and the Snack Bar.

Day 8: The package includes return journey to the airport on the catamaran and the coach for your homeward flight.

Located in a quiet corner of the Plantation Island Resort, the air-conditioned Garden Terrace Rooms offer enchanting views of the surrounding greenery. The interior is well-appointed with Fijian design elements and fixtures. The master bedroom has an inviting queen bed, while adjoining rooms offer 2 single beds. The spacious ensuite bathroom offers a separate shower, vanity mirrors, and amenities such as plush towels and complimentary toiletries. There’s a separate living space, as well as a patio with outdoor furniture.

Does the resort have COVID-19 safety in place?

Yes, it does, and there’s a whole list of precautions and measures installed – all to ensure your Fiji holiday is as safe as humanly possible. First off, all the resort staff around you are 100% vaccinated. Not a single dose or 99.9%; all the people around you are double-dosed with WHO-approved Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines.

What COVID-19 safety precautions are in place at the resort?

The resort staff will disinfect all high-touch items like doorknobs, tables, chairs, and handrails consistently and frequently. Hand sanitation stations are distributed throughout the resort, particularly in dining and other high-traffic areas.

The resort now actively encourages social and physical distancing across all its properties. It has deliberately reduced overall capacity in public spaces by increasing distance between furniture settings and changing procedures for managing queues in resorts.

Every employee will have a temperature and wellness check prior to starting work. The resort will be providing PPE to employees based on WHO’s and Fiji Ministry of Health’s guidelines.

The resort will use Ecolab-approved cleaning products which reduce the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses. Then, whenever possible, rooms & bures will be left vacant for a minimum of 24 hours between guests, after completing enhanced cleaning and disinfecting.

All staff has completed training on its upgraded hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures. And finally, all properties will have documented procedures on how to handle any guest illnesses that may arise, including isolation and/or safe evacuation for any significant incidents.
