Day 1: From Sydney/ Brisbane, fly to Auckland from where you’ll take a connecting flight to Papeete (ask us for other source cities). At the airport, a friendly local representative will greet you with a traditional flower lei and help you aboard the coach heading for the overnight resort. Unpack, relax and stroll around the resort’s tropical gardens and the beach after dinner to work off the jetting around.
Day 2: Board the coach that will take you to Papeete’s pier. Enjoy the cool Pacific breeze while the boat skims over the crystal-clear waters – a perfect teaser of the tropical island holiday about to start. There will be a hotel representative to greet you and help you check in.
The next five days are up to you – spend it relaxing around the resort’s private white sand beach, swimming, snorkelling and kayaking. There is plenty to see, do and experience around the island – from hikes to walks around the island to experiences like private island picnics, learning how to play the ukulele and weaving lessons. The resort has a great island tour where you will learn about the local customs, be treated a Polynesian-style breakfast and lunch and taken around the island’s village and join a church service – we heartily recommend adding this to your itinerary.
Day 6: Bid a fond adieu to the island and hop on the boat transfer to Papeete. At Papeete, a local representative will be waiting to help you aboard the coach to the overnight resort. Sort through your pictures, use the WiFi to share them around and turn in for the night.
Day 7: Our rep will be there to greet you with a shell lei as a memento of the holiday and help you aboard the coach to the international airport. From Papeete, fly to Auckland and then onwards to Sydney.

Your air-conditioned lagoon-view suite features spacious bedroom, a living room and a large private terrace with views of the Bora Bora Lagoon. The sleeping quarters host a king-size bed, the ensuite bathroom is lavishly-appointed with a bathtub, shower and granite-top vanities; the living room has comfortable seating arrangements including a sofa set, armchair and ottoman (Ask us for room upgrades to overwater suites and villas!).

Each February, Papeete’s Te Fare Tahiti Nui Cultural Centre, turns into the film mecca of the South Pacific, thanks to Tahiti’s Pacific International Film Festival. The festival runs for six days and brings together filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts from across the South Pacific. Activities include: workshops and roundtables, television conferences and film screenings.
In November, film fans get another chance to revel in local cinema at the International Festival of Short Fiction Films from the Islands of the World: Courts des iles.
