Discover the rich layers of history woven into the heart of the Mediterranean as you explore the captivating island nation of Malta. Perfectly positioned just south of Sicily, Malta has long been a crossroads of cultures and civilizations.
Start your journey in lively St Julian’s before stepping into the enchanting 16th-century capital of Valletta, a fortified city built by the legendary Knights of St John. Then, travel even further back in time with a visit to the awe-inspiring Hagar Qim—an ancient megalithic temple complex dating back to around 3600 BC.
Venture to Malta’s scenic sister island, Gozo, for a full day of exploration. Wander through the impressive citadel in Victoria and soak in Gozo’s rugged charm. Back in Valletta, gain powerful insights into Malta’s role in World War II at the National War Museum, a moving tribute to the island’s resilience during the blitz.
Cap off your adventure with a stroll through the timeless towns of Mosta, Rabat, and Mdina—where narrow lanes, historic churches, and stunning views transport you to another era.
