DAY 1: Tue 18 Aug 2026 - Welcome to Tropical North Queensland

Arrive at Cairns Airport to begin your Ladies Only Getaway 2026! Make your own way to the elegant Doubletree by Hilton Cairns, beautifully located on the Esplanade. Check-in is available from 2:00pm however if you arrive early, feel free to ask at reception if your room is ready. If not, your luggage can be securely stored while you relax with a drink, enjoy the hotel’s facilities or go explore the city. This evening, gather at the The Vine Room to join your Host, Lysanda, and a delightful group of like-minded ladies for a leisurely two-course Welcome Dinner. The perfect beginning to new friendships and shared adventures. Included meals: dinner.

DAY 2: Wed 19 Aug 2026 - Cairns to Port Douglas

Start your day with a relaxed buffet breakfast at the Atrium Restaurant before the journey to Port Douglas. Sit back and relax as you travel on this breathtaking coastal highway where the road hugs the shoreline with sweeping Coral Sea vistas on one side and lush rainforest-covered mountains on the other. Along the way you'll visit Palm Cove where there is time to stroll the iconic palm-lined beach, wander through the Esplanade’s shops or pop into one of the cafés or bars for a coffee, fresh juice or cold drink. The journey continues with a stop at Rex Lookout for a spectacular 180 degree view over the Coral Sea before arriving at Oaks Port Douglas Resort, your retreat for the next four nights. The afternoon is free to relax at your own pace - enjoy a refreshing dip in the lagoon-style pool with a cocktail at the swim-up bar or simply soak up the resort’s tranquil surrounds. Dinner is at your leisure, with the choice to explore nearby restaurants or dine in and make the most of the resort facilities. Included meals: breakfast.

DAY 3: Thu 20 Aug 2026 - Great Barrier Reef Adventure

Enjoy buffet breakfast before your coach transfer to Crystalbrook Super Yacht Marina where you'll board the wavepiercing catamaran on the Quicksilver Great Barrier Reef Cruise Experience. Enjoy complimentary morning tea, a marine biology presentation and snorkelling demonstration during the 90 minute journey to Agincourt Reef, renowned for its crystal-clear water and marine life. Upon arrival at the two-level activity platform you can choose how you wish to experience the reef - snorkel at your own pace, stay dry in the underwater observatory or view the coral and marine life in a semi-submersible vessel. Hot & Cold Tropical Buffet Lunch will be served on the platform featuring fresh prawns, pastas, meats, salads and fresh fruit. Full bar facilities are available for drink purchases. Also included is the use of snorkelling equipment and bouyancy aids, lifeguard supervision, and fish feeding. Optional activities (fee applies): scuba diving and scenic helicopter flights. After the cruise, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel with time to freshen up before enjoying a relaxed pizza dinner from the on-site Little Pizza Company. Included meals: breakfast, morning & afternoon tea, lunch & dinner.

DAY 4: Fri 21 Aug 2026 - Daintree Rainforest, Cape Tribulation & Mossman Gorge Tour

After breakfast, your coach will collect you for a full-day journey north to Cape Tribulation. Travel deep into the Daintree, crossing the mighty Daintree River aboard the famous cable-operated vehicle and passenger ferry. Enjoy a Daintree River Cruise, keeping watch for birdlife, crocodiles and lush mangrove forests.. Note: there are a couple of steps on the river cruise however the coach driver and boat captain can assist if required. Continue to Alexandra Lookout for breathtaking views over the Daintree River estuary and out to the Coral Sea. Arrive at Heritage Lodge for a delicious tropical lunch set in the rainforest, overlooking the clear waters of Cooper Creek. Choose from a range of main meals served with fresh bread and salads, followed by a fruit platter, tea and coffee. Wine, beer or spirits are available at own expense. After lunch, continue the journey north to Cape Tribulation where you have the opportunity to walk on the beach at the very spot where the world’s oldest rainforest meets the reef. Stop at the Daintree Ice Cream Company to stretch your legs and enjoy house-made ice cream crafted from fruit grown in their own orchard. Later, arrive at the Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre and board a shuttle into the Gorge. Your driver-guide will lead a gentle guided walk, sharing insights into this ancient and enchanting rainforest environment. Return to Oaks Port Douglas in the late afternoon (approx. 20 minutes), with time to relax, freshen up, or enjoy the resort’s facilities after a rewarding day of exploration. Dinner is at your own arrangement. Included meals: breakfast, morning tea, lunch.

DAY 5: Sat 22 Aug 2026 - Leisure Day

After a delicious buffet breakfast, the day is yours to do as much or as little as you like. Recharge the batteries and sip a cocktail by the pool, visit the day spa, head into Macrossan Street for some retail therapy, grab a group of ladies for a walk along Four Mile Beach. Or, you can take the advice of your Tour Escort who will have a number of activities up her sleeve. Included meals: breakfast.

DAY 6: Sun 23 Aug 2026 - Port Douglas Markets & Cairns

Enjoy your final buffet breakfast before checking-out at Oaks Port Douglas. Board the coach for Port Douglas Markets where you'll have a couple of hours to stroll through colourful stalls showcasing locally made arts and crafts, unique souvenirs, fashion, jewellery and fresh regional produce, all set to the laid-back sounds of live music. Re-boarding the coach, enjoy the relaxed, scenic drive south, arriving at Doubletree by Hilton Cairns to check-in and spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner is at your own arrangement - explore the Cairns Esplanade, dine nearby, or simply relax at the hotel. Included meals: breakfast.

DAY 7: Mon 24 Aug 2026 - Waterfall, Wetlands & Kuranda Scenic Rail Tour

Start your day with a hearty buffet breakfast at the Atrium Restaurant before departing on your full day tour. Your day begins at Cattana Wetlands, where a driver-guided walk introduces you to this peaceful landscape. Wander alongside reflective Jabiru Lake while learning about the unique flora and fauna of the wetlands, and enjoy morning tea along the way. Continue to Jumrum Creek Conservation Park, where a Djabugay Cultural Guide joins you for an easy walk along boardwalks and graded paths through vine-laced rainforest, sharing stories and cultural insights. Lunch is at Skybury Coffee Plantation, Australia’s oldest coffee plantation and largest papaya grower. Take in sweeping views across the Atherton Tablelands as you relax with lunch, locally grown coffee and a liqueur tasting. After lunch, stop at Emerald Creek Ice Creamery to sample four different house-made ice cream flavours, all produced on site. Its then a 25 minute drive to Kuranda where you will board the Kuranda Scenic Railway for the 34km journey through Barron Gorge National Park. Be captivated by the stunning World Heritage-listed rainforest scenery and waterfall views through large open windows as you travel over 55 bridges, 98 curves and 15 hand-carved tunnels. The coach will pick you up at Freshwater Station for transfer back to your hotel. Dinner is at your own arrangement - enjoy a quiet night or venture out to one of Cairns' many restaurants along the Esplanade. Included meals: breakfast, lunch.

DAY 8: Tue 25 Aug 2026 - Farewell

After your final buffet breakfast, say farewell to your new-found friends and check-out of the hotel by 11:00am. You're welcome to store your luggage at reception and continue enjoying the resort facilities until your departure (own arrangements). Included meals: breakfast.
