Experience the Gardens by Twilight, For one night, Friday 28 March, Carlton Gardens and the Royal Exhibition Building will transform into a sprawling twilight wonderland as the sun sets. See your favourite gardens in a whole new light along with exclusive evening entertainment from stilt walkers, fire artists and LED hoop artists. Stroll through life-size sculptures from hundreds of Australian artists inside the revamped Arts & Sculpture Precinct, view all the illuminated gardens and chat with some of the best floral and landscape designers in the country.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, it's day one of your two days at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the event, held in the sprawling grounds of Carlton Gardens and the heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building. With over 900 exhibitors, including talented landscape and floral designers, you'll be treated to incredible installations that showcase their creativity and expertise. Marvel at the thousands of freshly cut and styled blooms that fill the air with enchanting fragrances. The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show welcomes visitors from 9am to 5pm.

After breakfast at the hotel, embrace your second day at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show. Take the opportunity to explore areas you may have missed on the previous day or revisit your favorite exhibits to fully immerse yourself in the beauty and inspiration on display.
Pace yourself, today 28the show is open till 9pm. Wander the extensive grounds and witness some of the best landscape and floral designs the country has to offer under a whole new ambience at Gardens by Twilight. Witness exclusive evening entertainment from stilt walkers, fire artists and LED hoop artists. Stroll through life-size sculptures from hundreds of Australian artists inside the revamped Arts & Sculpture Precinct, view all the illuminated gardens and chat with some of the best floral and landscape designers in the country. With an indulgent offering of tasty gourmet food and delicious botanical beverages, the southern hemisphere’s largest horticultural event ends on a highlight.

Getting to the Flower & Garden Show - Melbourne's Free Tram Zone operates within the CBD and stops directly out the front of the Carlton Gardens. The closest tram stop within the Free Tram Stop zone is Stop 10 Nicholson St and Victoria Parade.
TRAM - The Closest Tram stop to the Mercure Welcome is on the Corner of Bourke & Swanston Street (the stop is right in front of the Telstra Shop) If you catch the 86 or 96 tram that will take you to Stop 10 at Nicolson Street & Victoria Parade. The Hotel has Melbourne City Maps at reception and when you check in they are able to highlight each of the stops (Closest to Hotel & Carlton Gardens) on the map.
TRAIN - The closest train station is Parliament Station which is in the City Loop. Parliament Station’s Spring / Lonsdale Street provides lift access to street level. This exit is only 600m from the Victoria St Entrance to the show (Carlton Gardens).
