Bounty Day on Norfolk Island, celebrated annually on June 8, marks the anniversary of the arrival of the famous HMS Bounty mutineers and their Tahitian companions to the island in 1790. This year, 2025, holds special significance as it commemorates the 200th anniversary of the second settlement by the British. The day celebrates the island's unique history, culture, and the resilience of its community, which is largely descended from the mutineers and their Tahitian partners. The anniversary serves as a reminder of the island's deep historical roots and the ongoing connection to its past.

Watch the Bounty Mutineer descendants as they re-enact the landing of their forbears. The landing takes place at Kingston Pier, the oldest pier in the Southern Hemisphere. You can follow the procession of the Bounty Mutineer descendants dressed in period costume to the Cenotaph to pay their respects to the fallen.

This eight-day adventure includes return airfares from Sydney, a comprehensive itinerary of tours and experiences including accommodation at Governors Lodge, Bounty Day Celebrations with lunch, the famous Island Fish Fry, airport transfers, 7 days car hire and more!
