Governor’s Lodge
Governor’s Lodge provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable holiday experience. This welcoming, serene retreat has 55 individual one-bedroom cabins set among 12 acres of landscaped subtropical gardens dotted with majestic Norfolk pine trees, hibiscus and native shrubs. Centrally located, Governor’s Lodge is within easy walking distance of the island’s shopping strip, and a short drive from historic Kingston and idyllic Emily Bay. There’s three on-site dining venues, a pool, heated spa and a guest laundry. The resort is the perfect base for a memorable Norfolk Island holiday.
Governor’s Lodge prides itself as being Norfolk Island’s first environmentally sustainable hotel, ideal for guests wishing to minimise their carbon footprint. The solar power system generates a significant
52Kw of renewable electricity, feeding excess back into the island’s grid, and the on-site pure rainwater filtration system has an impressive two million litre storage capacity. Both of these factors paired with using only the freshest locally grown or caught produce provide the perfect mix of sustainability and all modern comforts.
All cabins have a lounge and dining area, private bathroom and separate bedroom with built in wardrobes, a king bed and plenty of space. One Bedroom Cabin with Balcony: Well appointed, fully serviced, one bedroom, cabin, each with a separate bedroom from the lounge, front verandah and off-street parking.
