Recognised as one of the top three Festivals and Events in Australia, the annual Parkes Elvis Festival is held every year in the second week of January, co-inciding with "The King's" birthday.
The Festival, celebrating its 34th year in 2027 features a jam-packed program of events including look-a-like contests, the beloved Street Parade, displays of Elvis artefacts, an absolutely amazing Gospel Service (where you'll enjoy priority seating), vintage cars, Miss Priscilla competition and so much more.

DAY 1 - Thursday 7 January 2027
Depart- Pickup from the Ibis Sydney Hotel, Airport (O'Riordan Street) at 8:30am sharp
This is a 5 hour journey with breaks built-in for morning tea and lunch (own expense). Arrive into Cowra late afternoon.
This evening enjoy a dinner and get to know our fellow Elvis travellers.

DAY 2 - Friday 8 January 2027
This morning after breakfast transfer to Parkes for the first day of the Elvis Festival. Start the festivities with the Elvis Tribute Heats at the Leagues Club. Experience some of the best Elvis tribute artists in the industry as they compete for their place in history at the preliminary round of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. This contest is a search for the Elvis tribute artist who best represents. After a morning of fun it’s time to return to Cowra. This evening enjoy a group dinner.

DAY 3 - Saturday 9 January 2027
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Parkes to attend the Elvis Street parade. Enjoy Elvis-themed floats, Elvis and Priscilla look-a-likes, vintage and classic cars, motorcycles and marching bands as they head from Bushman Street to Cooke Park down the length of Clarinda Street in the Northparkes Mines Street Parade.
The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you please. Lunch is at your own expense today. There will be a variety of options from food trucks to pubs, clubs and restaurants.
This afternoon return to Cowra and enjoy a relaxing afternoon before dinner and a show later this evening.

DAY 4 - Sunday 10 January 2027
Today head back to Parkes to hear the gospel songs of Elvis sung in the 3 and 4 part ‘Southern Gospel’ harmony style of the Jordanaires and Stamps quartets. Consisting of three amazing soloists in their own right, the Southern Cross Vocal Band’s concerts offer variety by seamlessly combining the trios with solos, song introductions and even some bluegrass featuring the 5 string banjo. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you please. Lunch is at your own expense today. There will be a variety of options from food trucks to pubs, clubs and restaurants.
This afternoon feature Elvis Tribute concert. Each year the event presents powerful vocals, unique instrumentation and pure, raw talent in this show, as the best in the world honour the one and only King of Rock ‘n’ Roll – Elvis Presley.
Enjoy a free evening in Cowra to explore the local cafes and restaurants - dinner is at your own expense this evening.

DAY 5 - Monday 11 January 2027
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred back to Sydney. Bid farewell to your fellow travellers as we arrive back at Ibis Sydney Airport, where your tour will end.
