Wineries:

National Parks:
Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt host some of the most beautiful National Parks in Queensland.

• Girraween National Park – enjoy the natural beauty of spectacular rock formations, and beautiful flora and fauna, at one of the most famous of all Queensland National Parks, Girraween is only a short drive away and has a variety of walks to suit all abilities

• Bald Rock National Park – Rising 260m above the surrounding plateau of lush forest, this National Park is home to the largest granite dome in the southern hemisphere. Bald Rock is about 750m long, 50m wide and about 1277m above sea level. There ae many other granite domes and outcrops of geographical interest and visual appeal. A number of walks make the most of the parks granite landscape – including the track to the summit which passes through canyons, stone arches and provides panoramic views.

• Sundown National Park – is a rugged wilderness area of sharp ridges and steep-sided gorges. It is accessible by 4WD, has several maintained walking tracks and is a haven for bird watchers.

Lavender Farm:
The Granite Belt provides the ideal climate for growing lavender which provides a visual feast of colour between November and April. Aloomba Lavender Farm is open to the public offering a range of lavender products and other visitor services.

Suttons Farm, Juice Factory, Cidery & Distillery:

Pick your own tree ripened apples from the trees (seasonal). Sample a wide range of varietal apple juices, fruit liqueurs, apple ciders, brandies and grappa. Enjoy Suttons famous apple pie and a drink in the Shed Café.
