Moored offshore at Hardy Reef, 40 nautical miles from Airlie Beach is the setting for your spectacular overnight underwater experience.
Begin your journey with a cruise through the Whitsunday Islands to Hardy Reef onboard our high-speed vessel, arriving at the reef around 11:00am. After lunch, guests can snorkel, dive, swim or take a scenic helicopter flight to see famous Heart Reef (additional cost). Day visitors depart mid-afternoon and then overnight guests have Hardy Reef and the pontoon all to themselves.
Watch a stunning sunset with a drink in hand before enjoying a starlit long-table dinner on the pontoon’s upper deck. After dinner, guests can retreat to the privacy of their undersea accommodation. Sit back, relax and watch as the reef comes to life through the floor to ceiling windows.
Reefsuites give a whole new meaning to ‘a room with a view’ and you’ll awake to see the marine life going about another day on the world-heritage listed reef they call home. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and an exclusive morning on the reef before heading home in the afternoon with memories that will stay with you forever.

There can be few more unique experiences offer in the world than the chance to sleep under the water, 40 nautical miles from shore on the Great Barrier Reef! The permanently moored pontoon is located on Hardy Reef - one of the most spectacular stretches of the Great Barrier Reef and home to world famous Heart Reef.
Guests travel to Reefworld onboard their high speed modern well appointed vessels, arriving around 11:00am with the day guests. By day, all the amazing activities offered on our Great Barrier Reef Adventures are there to be enjoyed - diving, snorkelling, swimming with thousands of fish, massages and scenic helicopter flights. By 3:00pm the day guests depart and you get the pontoon all to yourself and your fellow guests. Watch the sun set over the reef while you sip your sundowner and then see the reef really come to life in the darkness of the night.
Enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner prepared by your dedicated host before you head below deck to your underwater accommodation and watch the marine life. Wake up on day 2 to a delicious breakfast before enjoying another day on the Great Barrier Reef. Travel home with the day guests at 3:00pm, taking home plenty on memories and stories to tell.

Great Barrier Reef Environmental Management Charge (EMC): Included in your cruise fare is a per head fee which goes to the Government. The money collected is used by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) for the management and protection of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
