After breakfast and check out, you will travel overland to Hazyview, Mpumalanga via Pretoria City. The Voortrekker Monument was built to commemorate and honour the Voortrekkers who left the Cape Colony between 1835 and 1854. Mpumalanga is Zulu for the place where "the sun rises" and is aptly named as it is one of the most beautiful provinces in South Africa. Home to some of the worlds top nature reserves, including the Kruger National Park, visitors do not have to travel far to experience the many wonders of African wildlife and vistas. The Three Rondavels is the most well-known and frequently photographed landmark in the area,located at the northern most point of the impressive Drakensberg Range.

Enjoy an early morning Scheduled Open Vehicle Safari. After breakfast and check out, you will travel overland to Hluhluwe and stay overnight.
Embark on an afternoon Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park Open Vehicle Safari game drive in a specially modified vehicle through South Africa's oldest wildlife park, Hluhluwe-Imfolozi.

After an early breakfast and check out, you will travel overland to King Shaka International Airport, via a stop at Dumazulu Cultural Village to enjoy a cultural show at 8:15am. Springbok Atlas Tours - Half day City. The city centre drive showcases landmarks like the Castle of Good Hope (1666), City Hall, Grand Parade, St. George's Cathedral and pass by the Company Gardens and the Malay Quarter.
Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden. Explore the diverse beauty of the gardens, set up against Cape Town's iconic Table Mountain looking onto the city. There are plenty of spaces to picnic among the rich and varied displays of southern Africa's plant life (more than 7,000 species are planted out) and a restaurant on site. It is the first botanical garden to be included within a natural World Heritage site.

Chapmans Peak Drive on the Atlantic Coast between Hout Bay and Noordhoek in the Cape Peninsula is one of the most spectacular marine drives in the world. Affectionately known as Chappies, it's a must for anyone who is passionate about the majestic scenery of Cape Town. Initially constructed during the First World War, this 9km route with its 114 curves, skirts Chapmans Peak, the 593m high southerly extension of Constantia Berg, and follows the rocky coastline to unfold breath taking views in both directions. The route starts at the picturesque fishing harbour of Hout Bay and the climb winds steeply up to Chapmans Point, revealing breath taking views of the sandy bays down below, until the road reaches lower levels again at Noordhoek.
Cape of Goodhope (Cape Point) is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and offers hiking, surfing, angling, picnicking, beaching and cycling opportunities against the spectacular backdrop of the mountains and coastline of the Cape Peninsula.
Cape Point Funicular - apart from offering visitors an exciting and novel method of travel, taking the Flying Dutchman funicular saves visitors an uphill walk from the car park to see the old lighthouse and enjoy the panoramic views. Its the only commercial funicular of its type in Africa, and takes its name from the local legend of the Flying Dutchman ghost ship. The line runs from a lower station at the Cape Point car park every three minutes, comfortably accommodates 40 passengers per car, and can transport 450 persons to the upper lighthouse per hour.

What is the dress code on this tour?
The dress code while on tour is very relaxed; however please note that clothing covering the arms and legs may be more appropriate when visiting villages, doing Jungle safaris. Be sure to include your comfortable walking shoes. We suggest smart casual attire for the evenings.
How fit do I need to be for this tour?
A moderate level of fitness is required. Some days on tour will be longer than others. Excursions may require moderate walking at a steady pace, and you might be required to walk further distances, including over mixed terrain and up and down stairs. Wheelchairs or wheelie walkers will not be able to be accommodated on this tour.
How much money should carry for this tour?
Whilst on tour you will need to take enough money to cover the cost of any meals not included in the holiday and for drinks, tipping and other incidentals including shopping and optional activities. We recommend that you have access to more than one source of money while travelling in South Africa - bringing some cash, a credit card and an ATM debit card (or travel card) will give you the most security and flexibility.
Counterfeit cash is a problem throughout South Africa, so shop owners and clerks at banks or exchange desks are very cautious and can refuse to accept notes in bad condition. Do not accept any notes that are torn, very faded, a different shade, have ink stamps or writing on them. If you accept the notes or sign the exchange receipt and then notice a problem later, you will not be able to exchange them.
