Day 1, Arrive in Cairns: Monday, 25-Sep-23
On arrival please make your own way to the hotel.
Day 2, Cairns to Malanda: Tuesday, 26-Sep-23
Breakfast at the hotel, before commencing your journey to Malanda.
Along the way visit the Babinda Boulders at Wooroonooran National Park and enjoy the waterfall circuit of Elinja, Zillie and Millaa Millaa Falls.
Stop in at Mungalli Creek for a Dairy tasting with lunch. Then this afternoon visit Australia's largest tea plantation and enjoy a delicious Devonshire Tea at Nerada and if lucky spot a shy Lumholtz tree Kangaroo.
Dinner this evening included at the Lodge.
Day 3, Malanda to Undara: Wednesday, 27-Sep-23
This morning enjoy a continental breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
After breakfast travel to Undara a unique outback setting to explore natural geological wonders.
Visit Herberton Historic Village entry and enjoy lunch at the Bakerville Tearooms.
Then travel to Ravenshoe the highest town in Queensland followed by a visit to Millstream Falls.
Later this afternoon arrive Undara and check-in to your accommodation. Join the Archway Explorer Tour this afternoon followed by a guided to view the sunset.
Tonight enjoy dinner at your accommodation.
Day 4, Undara to Georgetown: Thursday, 28-Sep-23
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast this morning at your accommodation before visiting the old mining service town of Mount Surprise. Here you will join the Savannahlander and enjoy a unique outback rail experience from Mt Surprise to Forsayth.
Arrive at Forsayth and transfer to your accommodation this evening in Georgetown. Dinner tonight will be served at the motel.
Day 5, Georgetown to Cobbold Gorge: Friday, 29-Sep-23
Enjoy a cooked breakfast this morning before you depart, and travel to Cobbold Gorge Queensland's youngest gorge set amongst an ancient landscape.
Visit the Ted Elliot Mineral Collection & Unearth Etheridge Exhibit, Cashafor Park & Old Forsayth Jail.
Today enjoy a buffet lunch at Finnigans Restaurant, Goldfields Hotel.
After lunch tour Cobbold Gorge. Appreciate this incredibly narrow gorge from the glass bridge before exploring the waters of the gorge on a cruise.
Tonight dinner will be at Cobbold Gorge Resort.
Day 6, Cobbold Gorge to Atherton: Saturday, 30-Sep-23
After breakfast travel towards Atherton and enjoy the sweeping views of the tablelands.
Enjoy an exclusive 1.5hrs discovery tour of the Talaroo Hot Springs. Discover the connection between this ancient site and the Ewamian people before soaking in the healing waters of the original pool.
Lunch today will be at Pinnarendi Station - For lunch relish a sourdough based wood fired pizza.
After lunch visit Mount Hypipamee Crater and Dinner Falls.
Enjoy dinner this evening at a local Restaurant.
Day 7, Atherton to Cairns: Sunday, 01-Oct-23
After breakfast check out and begin your trip back to Cairns with a visit to the Avenue of Honour and Curtain Fig Tree.
Enjoy lunch at Gallo Dairyland before visiting Mt Uncle Distillery and Golden Drop Winery.
Travel back to Cairns on the Kuranda Scenic Rail in Gold Class service.
Tonight is at leisure in Cairns.
Day 8, Depart Monday, 02-Oct-23 Cairns: Sunday, 01-Oct-23
This morning after breakfast, check out and make you own way to the airport for your homeward journey.
