Day 1 - Your transcontinental adventure begins in Sydney where you board the Indian Pacific. Prepare for a journey of contrasts, from lush vineyards to vast goldmines, majestic mountains to the barren expanse of the Nullarbor, from cities of four million to ghost towns of four. As the train winds through the breathtaking Blue Mountains, explore the comforts of life onboard, get acquainted with your cabin and fellow travellers. After settling in, savour your first meal – a regionally-inspired dinner paired with all-inclusive fine wines and beverages. After dinner, join fellow guests for a late night drink or head back to your cabin for your first night onboard.
Day 2 - You arrive in the ‘Silver City’ of Broken Hill as the day begins, where you embark on a morning of Off Train Excursions to discover the mining history and artistic culture of this unique town where the streets are wide and there’s a pub on every corner. Lunch is served onboard as the Indian Pacific enters the southern tip of the spectacular and ancient Flinders Ranges. Arriving in the city of Adelaide in the afternoon, you have the choice of a tour of the city, a visit to the world famous Barossa Valley or McLaren Vale wine regions (seasonal), or a trip to the beautiful Adelaide Hills featuring the culinary delights of Hahndorf.
Day 3 - You’ll awake to the seemingly endless expanse of the Nullarbor Plain. Breakfast is served as you travel along the longest stretch of straight railway track in the world. This evening, your sense of wonder will be ignited as you enjoy the tranquillity of dinner under the brilliant desert stars in the remote and beautiful Rawlinna (seasonal).
Day 4 - Breakfast is served as you glide through the mild skies and cool green vales of the Avon Valley on your way to Perth, arriving after an onboard lunch.
Upon arrival at East Perth Rail Terminal make your own way to your Perth hotel.
Day 5 to 8 - We have included breakfast daily to get your days off to a great start so you're ready to explore Perth at leisure!

Day 9 - This morning you will be transferred to Fremantle Cruise Terminal, where you will embark on the Queen Mary 2 for your 10 night cruise.
Day 10 - This morning the ship will dock in Busselton, where you will have the chance to explore the Margaret River Region. Margaret River is a beautiful natural setting in Australia’s southwest corner that has inspired many artists here over the years. Long beaches and rocky outcrops define Margaret River’s shores, while over 100 premium wineries lie inland. Don’t miss the dramatic limestone caves that link to Aboriginal mythology.
Day 11 to 13 - Enjoy 3 days at sea, taking in all that the Cunard ships have to offer. From doing a spot of shopping in the boutiques and stores on board to indulging in high tea of an afternoon these days at seas will go by in a flash that by the time you dock in the next port you will be rejuvenated an ready to hit the ground running!
Day 14 - With around 200 wineries a stone’s throw from the city, Adelaide is one of Australia’s best kept secrets. Enjoy a full day in port to explore this charming city fringed by scenic countryside and sandy beaches, with a fantastic food market, captivating art scene, and plenty of options for sighting native Australian wildlife.
Day 15 - Today the days is yours to sit back and relax onboard as you sail the high seas to your next port of call.
Day 16 - Flower gardens and graceful tree-lined boulevards give Melbourne its refined air, and it is considered the hub of Australia’s cultural, intellectual and financial life. Certainly by Melbournians. You have a full day to explore this wonderful bustling city and its' surrounds.
Day 17 - Today the days is yours to sit back and relax onboard as you sail the high seas to your next port of call.
Day 18 - This morning the QM 2 will dock in Sydney where you have one last night aboard to enjoy this wonderful ship and beautiful Sydney.
Day 19 - Today your holiday comes to and end as your disembark the ship in Sydney.
