    Arrive Townsville - Transfer to Magnetic Island

    On arrival in Townsville, make your own way to the Breakwater Terminal to board your ferry transfer to Magnetic Island,On arrival at Magnetic Island, you'll find your hotel located near the ferry terminal.

    Magnetic Island

    Days 2–3

    Your days are free to explore the island. With over 26km of walking trails linking bays and secluded beaches, you will be sure to encounter some of the island's hidden gems. There are numerous ways to explore the island, or just sit back, relax and unwind in Queensland's tropics. Why not try to find hidden bays and beaches for a picnic lunch.

    Magnetic Island - Townsville - Home

    Sadly your island getaway comes to an end today. Make your way to the island's ferry terminal for your return to the mainland, then transfer to the airport for your homeward journey.

Why not explore Townsville, or hire a car and head north to Cairns, the Atherton Tablelands or Port Douglas for a few days of relaxation. Transport to Breakwater Terminal Townsville:
Townsville Airport is a short 8km drive to the Breakwater Terminal for your Magnetic Island Ferry. Taxis meet all arrivals and departures. A taxi will cost you approx. $20 to get to the SeaLink ferry terminal. 
Transport on Magnetic Island:
There’s no shortage of transport options on Magnetic Island, from walking to public transport to relaxing tours, you will find it easy to explore from the moment you step onto the Island. On arrival to the island you'll find many options at the Nelly Bay terminal including:
