Cairns to Cape Tribulation via Port Douglas - Approx. 140 kms

The Great Barrier Reef Drive is hands down one of Queensland most scenic drives. The Captain Cook Highway between Cairns and Cape Tribulation, this drive will have you constantly pulling over to just stop and take in the amazing scenery with the Great Barrier Reef on one side and the lush tropical rainforest on the other.

Although you you can do this easy drive in a full day we think breaking it up the trip with a few nights in Port Douglas is truly the best way to enjoy it. This is a holiday after all!

Relax on the golden sands of Four Mile beach, located 400 metres from the resort.
