Glenelg, just 20 minutes from Adelaide, it is one of Adelaide's favourite city beach. Walk along the foreshore, grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants dotting Jetty Road and check out the boutique shops. Cast a line off the jetty, sail around the bay at unset or swim with wild dolphins before kicking your shoes off and pulling up a seat at a bar without even your toes out the sand. Come summer, Glenelg is home to Australia’s only official bar on the beach, Moseley Beach Club; the perfect spot to sip cocktails on a balmy evening surrounded by white sand and lapping waves. 

When it comes it Christmas Lunch, we recommend a short ten-minute walk to the Stamford Grand Hotel Glenelg; they're putting on a Christmas Day buffet lunch and dinner featuring the freshest South Australian seafood. The InterContinental and Stamford Plaza in Adelaide are both offering festive
trimmings as well.

Grand Mansions & Historic North Adelaide - Walking Tour
This walk highlights the grand mansions of Brougham Place built to address the Park Lands setting and, in contrast, continues to Lower North Adelaide, which features the Chichester Gardens subdivisions between Stanley, Melbourne & Jerningham Streets. This tour visits the lower end of historic North Adelaide which has a very high concentration of heritage within the one suburb/area. History, architecture, and heritage are on display and again we talk about some of the more prominent and also lesser-known former citizens and their stories. Enjoy an easy-paced 2 hour walking tour around lower North Adelaide adjacent to the city of Adelaide.
