   Tue 20 Oct 2020 - Depart Brisbane on the

   Spirit of the Outback (D)

   This afternoon you'll board the Spirit of the Outback in Brisbane and enjoy homestead-style comfort as you head inland, where towering blue skies meets the sunburnt red earth on the horizon. From the comfort of your seat or first-class sleeper, you can marvel at the landscape changing right outside your window.

   Wed 21 Oct 2020 - Arrive Longreach (B, L, D)

   As you journey through the heritage towns of Blackwater, Emerald and Barcaldine, you’ll discover the heart and soul of the Queensland outback. before arriving in Longreach tonight. Complimentary transfers to your accommodation are provided on arrival in Longreach. Enjoy the next five nights in quality Longreach accommodation.

   Thu 22 Oct 2020: Nogo Station Experience, Qantas Founders Museum, Stonegrill® Dining Experience (B, MT, D)

   After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your accommodation for a town tour of Longreach then on to the Kinnon’s historic Nogo Station. Hear all about the pioneering lifestyle, see a champion sheep shearer at work and then be welcomed to the homestead for a wonderful ‘smoko’ – an impressive spread of country baking. Transfer to the Qantas Founders Museum where your entry is included. Take your time to enjoy the museum and your 90-minute Jet Tour (note due to on-going improvements at QFM the tour may be slightly altered). Then freshen up before heading to The Welcome Home for your Stonegrill® Dining Experience.

   Fri 23 Oct 2020: Cobb and Co Stagecoach Experience, Starlight’s Cruise Experience (B, MT, L, D)

   Today’s the day for your Cobb and Co Stagecoach Experience including the stagecoach ride on the old Longreach to Windorah mail route, home-baked scones and tea at our cafe and tearoom followed by a vintage Aussie movie at 12:00pm watch the Harry Redford Old Time Tent Show with a billy-can lunch until 1:00pm. At around 4.30pm you’ll be picked up and taken to the banks of the Thomson River for our Starlight’s Cruise Experience. The cruise is followed by a hearty stockman’s dinner around the campfire with bush poetry then the Starlight’s Spectacular Sound-and-Light Picture Show featuring a special movie commissioned by the Kinnons to celebrate our legendary local hero Harry Redford. BYO drinks.

   Sat 24 Oct 2020: Winton Discovery Day Tour (B, MT, L, D)

   It’s a 6.45am start for a full day tour to Winton. Visit the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum and Dinosaur Canyon plus the exciting new Waltzing Matilda Centre. Enjoy lunch at the historic North Gregory Hotel with time for a stroll of the Main Street, take a short walk to Arno’s wall. Dine atLongreach’s local Chinese restaurant in the evening.

   Sun 25 Oct 2020: Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame (B)

   Explore the five galleries at The Stockman’s Hall of Fame before enjoying lunch at the museum café (at your own cost). Return to your accommodation and decide which local delicacies you want for dinner. Try out one of the restaurants in town, order takeaway or enquire about the Dinner and Show at Stockman’s Hall of Fame.

   Mon 26 Oct 2020: Depart Longreach (B, L, D)

   Pack and say farewell to Longreach. This morning, you'll be transferred to the station for your return journey on the Spirit of the Outback. You’ll be leaving with lots of amazing memories and we hope you’ll be back!

8. 8

   Tue 27 Oct 2020: Arrive Brisbane (B)

   Your amazing journey ends on arrival in Brisbane around midday.
