Just a 50-minute flight from Tahiti’s Fa’a International Airport, this volcanic caldera is a mecca for newly-weds, couples and families. Basically all travellers, really. Flying around towering green peaks of Mount Otemanu, over the stark cerulean and aquamarine waters of the lagoon makes for a great experience on holiday. Then, waking up to an endless clear blue lagoon while a continental breakfast is delivered by canoe is one of the many amazing things typical of a holiday in the Tahiti and Her Islands.
