    Enjoy a relaxing drive to the Hunter Valley and stop along the way to enjoy the stunning scenery and sample the local produce. Complimentary car parking (one car per room) is available during your stay. Tonight, meet your host and fellow group travellers with a Welcome Dinner at the resort.

    Today join your fellow Travellers and explore some of the local wineries and local producers in the Hunter.

    Your tour today will feature cheese tasting at Hunter Valley Cheese, wine tasting and a two course lunch with glass of wine at Brokenwood Estate followed by wine tasting at Hungerford Hill.

    After a relaxing breakfast, make your way to the Hunter Valley Gardens which you can explore at your own pace. The peaceful gardens are an easy 10-minute walk from the resort. Built over four years with a dedicated team of over 40 landscape gardeners, architects and engineers, the Hunter Valley Gardens is a beautiful, nature-based experience with 8km of walking paths winding through 14 hectares of gardens consisting of over 6000 trees, 600,000 shrubs and over 1 million ground cover plants, plus waterfalls, statues and murals. The 10 individually themed gardens showcase the artistry of gardens around the world and use both native and exotic varieties of plants.

    Relax and enjoy the country air this afternoon or ask us about optional touring this afternoon – choose from a game of golf or maybe relax with a beer or wine while sampling the local delicacies.

    Tonight, celebrate Christmas in July at our fabulous festive Christmas banquet which includes a 3-course alternate drop dinner and a glass of sparkling wine.

The property is just a 2.5 hour drive north of Sydney or 45 minutes from Newcastle airport, nestled amongst rolling vineyards and is a great base to explore the region and visit local cellar doors and fresh produce stalls.
