    BOARD THE INDIAN PACIFIC IN SYDNEY

    Depart Sydney Central Station and journey west aboard the Indian Pacific through the Blue Mountains. Settle into your cabin, meet fellow travellers, and enjoy a regionally inspired dinner with fine wine. (D)

    INDIAN PACIFIC, BROKEN HILL AND ADELAIDE

    Explore Broken Hill with an Off Train Experience before reboarding the Indian Pacific. Enjoy breakfast and lunch as you travel through the Flinders Ranges to Adelaide. Choose from a selection of local experiences, including wine tasting, Hahndorf, Coopers Brewery or Adelaide Central Market, before returning to the train for dinner and your journey west. (B, L, D)

    INDIAN PACIFIC, NULLARBOR PLAIN 

    Cross the vast Nullarbor Plain along the world’s longest straight railway track, stopping at the remote former railway town of Cook. Continue west to Rawlinna for a memorable dinner beneath the stars (seasonal). (B, L, D)

    INDIAN PACIFIC, PERTH

    Enjoy stunning views across the Avon Valley and a final brunch aboard the Indian Pacific before arriving in Perth. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. (B)

    PERTH TO MARGARET RIVER  

    Travel south to the Margaret River region, stopping in Mandurah, Bunbury and Busselton, including a stroll along Busselton Jetty. Visit the Margaret River Chocolate Company, Surfers Point and the coastal town of Prevelly before arriving at your accommodation. Enjoy the evening at leisure. (B, L)

    OVERNIGHT: 2 nights Margaret’s Beach Resort or Margaret In Town

    MARGARET RIVER 

    Explore Margaret River’s natural beauty, including Mammoth Cave and the towering Boranup Karri Forest. Visit Hamelin Bay and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet. Enjoy lunch with scenic views before returning to Margaret River for an evening at leisure. (B, L)

    MARGARET RIVER TO PERTH 

    Enjoy a gourmet day exploring Margaret River’s famous food and wine scene. Visit Yahava Koffee Works for coffee tastings, tour two local wineries with premium tastings and cheese pairings, then savour lunch at Olio Bello olive farm. Return to Perth in the afternoon. (B, L)

    ROTTNEST ISLAND 

    Take the ferry from Barrack Street Jetty to Rottnest Island. Enjoy a scenic island bus tour visiting Wadjemup Lighthouse and the rugged west end, followed by lunch and free time to explore and spot the famous quokkas. Return to Perth by ferry in the afternoon. (B, L)

Common questions about this voyage

Standard of dress onboard the train:
It is your holiday and we want you to be comfortable, so smart casual attire is recommended. Warm clothes are recommended for evenings onboard the train, as the air-conditioning can be cool. It is recommended that guests pack a hat, sunscreen and comfortable walking shoes for off-train touring. Sensible shoes are advisable for walking between carriages. 
Cabins onboard the train:
Single Gold Cabins - compact sleeper cabin featuring a bed that converts to a seat by day, private vanity, with shared shower/toilet facilities located at the end of the carriage.
Luggage Allowance:
Guests should bring an overnight bag to their cabin containing everything needed for the journey. Each guest travelling is entitled to checked in luggage, however checked in luggage cannot be accessed during the journey. In Gold Service, guests are allowed 2 bags x 30kg and guests travelling in Platinum Service are allowed 3 bags x 30kg.
