On 30 September 2021, the Travel at 60 community will head to the Sunshine Coast for launch of the 25th instalment of the James Bond series!
Our 007-themed getaway features a trivia night to test your knowledge. (Which movie had Bond on the top of a moving train? Who poisoned Bond in Casino Royale? What's Bond's preferred brand of car? In which movie opening did 007 strap on a jetpack to flee?)
In a specially-arranged private screening, you'll be one of the first in Australia to finally get to see the movie ‘No time to Die’ – the long-awaited final Bond outing for Daniel Craig.
And on the Friday night we’ll all celebrate Bond ‘Casino Royale’-style with a roulette wheel, blackjack table, music and prizes for best-dressed.

Itinerary

September Thursday
Days 1–30Arrive on the Sunshine Coast and transfer (own arrangements) to the resort.
The resort is located 5km from the Sunshine Coast (MCY) Airport and an hour’s drive north of Brisbane. Located between the Maroochy River and the Pacific Ocean offers a pristine beachside location ideal for exploring the best Sunshine Coast attractions.
2pm – Check in to the hotel
Enjoy an afternoon at leisure, time to relax by the pool or beach, play a round of Golf or pamper yourself at the Resort Spa.
This evening is all about legendary Secret Service Agent 007 - ahead of the movie tomorrow, test your knowledge at our Bond Trivia night, dinner and beverage package included.
