SUPPLIER GENERAL CONDITIONS

The responsibility in connection with these tours is limited to the carriage of passengers by charter of Aerlink ATR72 aircraft or another nominated carrier.

This tour is for Non-Smokers/Non-Vapers Only. We reserves the right to ask a person to leave the tour at their own expense if they do not comply with their non-smoking regulations. we also reserves the right to accept or retain any person as a client should such person’s health or mental conditions or physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights or welfare of enjoyment of other clients.

Failure to notify of any disabilities prior to departure may result in the refusal of carriage on the day or during the programme, and full cancellation fees would apply.

Good health and a reasonable level of fitness, as some walking is involved. Please ensure you advise us of any mobility issues, and if there is anything that the airline would need to know about your health (this is a requirement by the airline)

At times, it may be necessary for tours to be operated in the aircraft or coach of a subcontractor. We reserves the right to change, amend, alter, delay, or cancel any tour in the interest of the client’s safety or due to factors beyond their control.

We will not be liable for any such change, amendment, alteration, delay, or cancellation, or for any expenses incurred by the client as a result. Tour completion times are approximate only.

The sale of other services described herein is made by Travel West as agent only for the persons providing such a service, and as such, Travel West shall not be liable for any accident, injury, delay, irregularity, loss or damage caused by or arising from the provision or failure of any such service.

Details of tours are, to the best of their knowledge, correct at the time of preparation, but prices, itinerary, overnight accommodation, vehicles, and services described herein are subject to change, amendment, or withdrawal without notice. Travel West takes all reasonable care in selecting these operators; however, it cannot accept responsibility for their conduct, the conduct of employees, or for any ramifications of conduct.

Descriptions and information provided concerning the airlines, hotels, and other suppliers whose services are used are given in good faith, based on the latest information available at the time of going to press. In exceptional circumstances, local factors like weather and technical failures may limit hotel or other facilities described in our advertising.

In the event of a force majeure event, (ie. flood, earthquake, war, or civil strife, acts of terrorism, hurricane, cyclone, industrial disturbance, strike, fire, lock-out, epidemic, pandemic, failure, or delays of scheduled transportation, or any law, order, decree, rule, or regulation of any government authority (including quarantine requirements or government travel advisories), or for any other reason beyond our reasonable control, making it impossible or unsafe for Travel West to deliver all or part of the tour, we would certainly hold your payment over to a later travel date or refund in full less any costs that had to be paid prior and are non-refundable to Travel West, including a A$100.00 per person administration fee.

Minimum numbers are required to guarantee tour departures. All prices listed are in Australian dollars, subject to change without notice, and include Australian Government goods and services tax.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS TO JOIN THE TRAVEL WEST AIR SAFARI

Flight departs from Brisbane Domestic Airport and travel arrangements to/from this departure point are the passenger’s responsibility.

PAYMENT DETAILS

Full payment is required at the time of booking, and an invoice will be issued with payment details. Once payment is received, it is non-refundable, and travel insurance is recommended to cover non-refundable travel arrangements. Payment is acknowledgement that you have read, understood, and agreed to the detailed reservation conditions received with the booking form.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for non-refundable travel arrangements.

CANCELLATION

If, and at the sole discretion of Travel West, it becomes necessary to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be forthcoming, subject to all suppliers refunding any deposits that Travel West may have had to pre-pay to secure services. Changes to the itinerary are at the sole discretion of Travel West, taking care of the safety of all participants. No refunds will be given for unused or partially used services during the tour program.

TRAVEL INSURANCE RECOMMENDED

Travel West strongly recommends that clients take out travel insurance to cover travel arrangements and various emergencies that may be associated with travel in isolated outback regions, cancellation, inability to meet with connecting flights, emergency medical evacuation, or other unexpected loss or expense. Please advise Travel West if you choose not to take out travel insurance. This must be in writing and is a declaration that this is your choice and you acknowledge & understand Travel West's booking conditions.

LUGGAGE

Luggage is restricted to 1 piece per person with a maximum weight of 10kg.

Plus, 1 small piece of hand luggage is also permitted.

MOBILITY

This tour is is not wheelchair friendly.

Passengers need to walk 6 steps into & out of aircraft and Birdsville & Port Augusta Airports, also do not have the facilities required to assist with accessibility.
