    Wednesday 30 March 2022

    Welcome to Melbourne! On arrival at Melbourne airport, you will be met and transferred to The Hotel Windsor.  

    Tonight, you will meet your fellow gardening enthusiasts at a Welcome Dinner.

    Thursday 31 March 2022

    After breakfast, you will be transferred from the hotel to the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show.

    Held in the sprawling grounds of Carlton Gardens and within the heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building, visitors can expect a showcase of more than 900 exhibitors including a strong line-up of accomplished & award-winning landscape & floral designers creating unique, unimaginable installations.

    The heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building is a sight in itself, but will be taken to the next level housing thousands of freshly cut and styled blooms, filling the air with gorgeous scents. Floral designers, florists and flower enthusiasts will create some of the most stunning installations under its roof, a sight you won't want to miss.

    And to top it all off there will be plenty more to keep visitors busy with competitions, workshops, interactive spaces, demonstrations, expert advice, catering experiences and much more.

    Friday 1 April 2022

    Today is your final day to explore the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show perhaps have a leisurely morning as the gates will open for an evening to remember tonight, for the highly anticipated ‘Garden by Twilight’. Visitors can enjoy a night of delicious gourmet food and drinks, whilst exploring everything on offer in a whole new light and ambience. An enhanced entertainment program, fires to warm by, drinks to enjoy, all under the stars and amongst the designs! There will be transfers this evening at the end of the night to take you from the show back to your hotel.

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, before being transferred from the hotel to Melbourne airport for your homeward journey.

The Hotel Windsor is a grand heritage hotel dating back to 1883, with beautiful historic details featured throughout the hotel. Located in the heart of the dazzling theatre and restaurant district, the hotel is a great base for your stay in Melbourne. Tram stops and Parliament train station are located close by.

Willing to share:
One of the advantages of travelling on a Travel at 60 dedicated group departure is that we have the ability to match solo travellers, so that you can avoid paying the single supplement. Subject to availability of another traveller of the same gender willing to share. Please let our consultants know when you contact us.

Car Parking at The Windsor Hotel - Due to the pandemic, the Hotel only offers a self-parking option for $30 for over-night at this time. Please drive to the hotel's entrance to drop off your luggage. The Concierge will assist with directions to the car park. Limited street parking (restrictions apply) is available in the streets surrounding the hotel. There are also a number of private car parks in close proximity to the hotel, with the closest being the Wilsons carpark, located on Little Collins Street (turn in from Little Collins Street or Bourke Street). Rates vary, and owner onus applies.

Please note mobility aids are not available for hire at this event.

Recommend flights arriving into Melbourne no later than 4pm due to welcome dinner that evening.
