Tuesday 1 October 2024
Departing Brisbane, we set off for the Toowoomba Region located at the Top of the Great Dividing Range. Toowoomba is known for its preserved Victorian-era and traditional historic Queenslander architecture, historic churches and stunning gardens. Enjoy lunch at Picnic Point, perched on the edge of the escarpment with views over the Lockyer Valley before visiting a mix of gardens and parks.

Wednesday 2 October 2024
Begin with a tour of the Empire Theatre, a Heritage listed theatre complex in the City Centre. Marvel at the stunning detail and architectural features during a comprehensive behind the scenes tour by an experienced guide. Later there will be time to stop and smell the flowers in Queens Park, where the colour and fragrance will delight your senses and your camera lens. Later enjoy a guided tour of the Cobb and Co Museum before lunch in the café.
This evening, a highlight of the tour is sure to be the Twilight Tour of Laurel Bank Park. Track down exotic and rare species and find out what goes on behind the scenes to create this picture-perfect park.

This morning we begin with a visit to Brindabella County Gardens, for a tour led by the creators of this Internationally-award winning garden. You will be amazed by the 4 acres of gardens which offers roses, rhododendrons, cherries, bluebells and blossoms throughout the year. After lunch, we will visit more of the larger Country Gardens, where you will admire the precision in planning and planting to ensure the displays are at their peak for the Prestigious Garden Competition and to share their beautiful gardens with visitors each year.

Friday 4 October 2024
Today we visit the Ju Raku En Japanese Gardens, translated to mean "enjoying peace and longevity in a public place". Next visit the Downs Steam Tourist Railway and Museum before lunch and one last garden visit. See the beautiful Spring Bluff Railway Station, another Heritage-listed site located on the main railway line between Toowoomba and Ipswich. See the stunning array of poppies, ranunculus, snapdragons, petunias and many other annuals bursting into colour before making our way back to Brisbane.

Non-Refundable deposit of $300 per person is required within 7 days of booking.
Final payment due no later than Thursday 15 August 2024.
Supplier Cancellation policy
In the event of cancellation the following charges are applicable:
- up to 46 days prior to departure, non refundable deposit retained
- 45 days or less prior to departure, 100% of fare retained.
30 days prior to travel any amendments such as but not limited to name changes pick up and drop off location changes will incur a $25 per person fee.
