    Enjoy a relaxing drive from Brisbane to Toowoomba and stop along the way to enjoy the stunning scenery and sample the local produce on your way to the Oaks Toowoomba Hotel. Undercover Car parking is available during your stay ($15 per night payable to hotel). Tonight, meet your fellow group travellers with a welcome drink followed by 2 course dinner at the hotel restaurant.

    Tuesday 19 July 2022

    Today discover the sites of Toowoomba on a full day bus tour. Your tour visits locations such as Laurel Bank Park, a picnic point providing breathtaking panoramic views eastward to Table Top Mountain and the Lockyer Valley, and one of Australia's largest and most traditionally designed Japanese stroll gardens. Enjoy a guided tour of the heritage listed Empire Theatre, a building with rich history and fine architecture, including the grand proscenium arch, decorative sconces, original brick walls in the foyers and art-deco style lighting. This afternoon visit the DownsSteam Tourist Railway & Museum as well as a local winery. This evening dinner enjoy a 2 course dinner at the hotel restaurant.

    After a relaxing breakfast, the day is yours to explore Toowoomba at your own pace. Why not visit the Cobb & Co museum, Grand Central Shopping Centre or the historic and heritage listed, St Luke’s Hall which is over 100 years old.

    Stroll around Queens Park and Botanic Gardens, the parkland has lots to offer across three distinct areas, namely Queens Park Botanic Gardens, Vera Lacaze Memorial Park and Queens Park's greater park area. Showcasing an awe-inspiring garden collection of seasonal plants, set against a lush backdrop of extensive lawns and shrubs, and majestic avenues of towering trees.

    Tonight, celebrate Christmas in July at our fabulous festive Christmas banquet which includes a 3-course dinner and glass of wine.

Oaks Toowoomba Hotel is a premium 4.5 star hotel located in the heart of Toowoomba. It’s a 2 min stroll to Grand Central Shopping Centre where you can shop till you drop or sit back and relax at one of the local parks. Oaks Toowoomba Hotel offers a selection of leisure facilities to help you relax and unwind including onsite café & tavern, swimming pool, gym and under covering parking ($15 per night payable to hotel).

The property is just 2 hour drive from Brisbane and is a great base to explore the region and visit local cellar doors and fresh produce stalls. The Hotel Room has a king bed or 2 single beds, tea & coffee making facilities, balcony, air conditioning and Wi-Fi.

Travel at 60 will run a private coach from Brisbane for travellers who don't wish to drive to the Toowoomba. The coach will depart on Monday 18 July 2022 at 10:30am (you will need to arrive no later than 10:00am) and return on Thursday 21 July 2022 at approximately 1230pm. Please allow ample time for arriving or departing connections from other cities. This Transfer requires a minimum of 20 passengers to operate. Please ask about pricing today.

A non-refundable deposit of $200 per person is due within 7 days of booking. Full payment is due no later than Friday 13 May 2022.
