Common questions about this voyage
Fitness Requirements
- Low level of fitness required
What do I need to bring?
A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, weatherproof jacket and good walking shoes are a good starting point for all our tours.
Casual, drip-dry lightweight clothes are perfect. Other items, depending on your tour require a swimming costume and towel, small portable umbrella, travel alarm clock, medications and of course your camera to capture all those wonderful sights (don’t forget your spare batteries or charger!). There is no need for lots of formal clothes, however you might like to include a few options to wear out for dinner, but above all you want to be comfortable.
Documentation
2 weeks prior to departure your travel documents will be sent to you. Full payment and all guest flight details must be received in order to issue documents.
Do I need to advise of any special needs e.g. medication, mobility issues or serious medical conditions?
Yes; it’s essential that we know of any mobility, medical conditions, special or dietary needs you may have at the time of booking so that we can ensure, as much as possible, your needs are met on tour.
What options do I have if I am travelling alone?
The beauty of travelling on a Travel at 60 Community Tour is that you won't be travelling alone. You'll be travelling with a group of like-minded travellers and soon to be friends to share in the experience with. If you'd rather not pay the single supplement, we can happily pair you with another solo guest of the same gender, subject to availability.
How often do we stop?
On travelling days you will stop every 2 to 3 hours either at a rest stop where you will have access to food and facilities or for sightseeing, activities or free time.
