   Arriving in Cairo, transfer to your five-star hotel for a three-night stay in Egypt’s storied capital. Take your first steps into a city where ancient history and vibrant modern life sit side by side.

   Spend a day in Cairo, immersing yourself in the city’s bustling markets, historic mosques and lively streets, alive with the sounds and colours of everyday Egyptian life.

   Cairo: Tour & Hotel Stay

   Today, explore the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza and Great Sphinx with your Egyptologist guide, capturing photographs from the panorama viewpoint. Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where Tutankhamun’s complete treasures are displayed together for the first time.

   Luxor: Embark Ship & Overnight in Port

   Fly to Luxor and embark MS Sunray, your floating base for exploring the treasures of the Nile. Spend your first evening in Luxor, watching the temples glow beneath the evening sky as your Nile cruise begins.

   Luxor - Edfu

   Cross to Luxor’s West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings and Queens, resting place of Egypt’s pharaohs, then visit the striking Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, carved into the cliffs. This afternoon, sail through the Esna Lock en route to Edfu.

   Aswan: Overnight in Port

   Before arriving in Aswan, visit the unique double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to two ancient gods. This evening, join a Galabia Egyptian Night on board, a lively celebration of local dress, music and tradition.

   Discover the engineering feat of the High Dam, the elegant Temple of Philae and the intriguing unfinished Obelisk. Later, glide past Kitchener’s Island on a traditional felucca ride, before enjoying an evening Nubian Show on board.

   Spend a full day at leisure in Aswan, with time to wander its lively souks, relax beside the Nile, or simply unwind on board as MS Sunray remains moored here overnight.

    Luxor: Overnight in Port

    Sail onward towards Kom Ombo before visiting the sandstone Temple of Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved monuments dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Round off the evening with a further Galabia Egyptian Night on board.

    Explore Luxor’s East Bank, home to the vast Karnak Temple complex and the elegant Luxor Temple, illuminated beautifully after dark. Moored overnight in Luxor, round off the evening with an on-board belly dance show.

    Luxor: Disembark Ship & Cairo Hotel Stay

    Disembark MS Sunray in Luxor and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Cairo, where you’ll check in for an overnight stay. Enjoy a final taste of the Egyptian capital before continuing your journey towards the Mediterranean.
