Lake Eyre (Kati Thanda) - Kalamurina Wildlife Sanctuary
Take a scenic flight over Lake Eyre South and Lake Eyre North, following Belt Bay and the Warburton Groove system to Kalamurina Wildlife Sanctuary, a 1.7 million-acre property managed by Australian Wildlife Conservancy. Enjoy a guided tour of the Warburton Creek banks to learn about the transformation from cattle country to wildlife haven. Travel by coach down the Birdsville Track, crossing Cooper's Creek before returning to Marree. Note: The tour splits into two groups—Group 1 takes the morning flight while Group 2 travels by coach and returns via scenic flight.
