    Depart Darwin | Broome

    Darwin departures: On select departures, boarding times at Darwin Fort Hill Wharf are 8:00 am for a 9:00 am departure or 4:00 pm for a 5:00 pm departure. (Official times available in your pre-departure documentation.)

    Broome departures: Arrive at the Mangrove Hotel in Broome at 3:30 pm before your included transfer to Deep Water Port for a 4:00 pm boarding.

    Get settled, explore the ship, then gather for a welcome briefing and sunset drinks as we begin navigating toward the Kimberley coast.

    KING GEORGE RIVER FALLS

    Cruise through Gardner Plateau gorges into the mist spray of the dramatic King George Falls, Western Australia’s tallest twin waterfalls. Depending on the season, experience up-close views of honeycomb sandstone formations or thundering waterfalls in our Xplorer tenders in the earlier months.

    VANSITTART BAY

    Explore Vansittart Bay’s ancient Gwion Gwion rock art galleries. From the Anjo Peninsula, view the preserved C-53 Skytrooper aircraft wreck, grounded in 1942 and now a haunting historical site reflecting wartime aviation mystery.

    MITCHELL FALLS | WOLLASTON BAY

    Enjoy helicopter (optional extra) access to Mitchell Falls amid tiered waterfalls and emerald pools, visit Wollaston Bay, home to Wandjina and Gwion rock art galleries, before an evening BBQ under the Kimberley's iconic sunset.

    PRINCE FREDERICK & BIGGE ISLAND

    Cruise into Porosus Creek up Prince Regent River to explore mangrove-lined waterways with sea eagles and mudskippers. Visit Bigge Island (Wuuyuru) to learn about Wunambal culture among monsoon forests, mudflats, and coastal ecosystems.

    PRINCE REGENT RIVER AND CAREENING BAY

    Traverse down the straight fault-line of the Prince Regent River by tender to reach King Cascade. From Xplorers' view, cascading layered falls and lush vegetation, framed by dramatic sandstone walls, rush into the river below.

    If tides and weather permit, step ashore in Careening Bay to see the historic Mermaid Boab Tree, carved by Lt. King’s carpenter in 1820. Learn the story of HMC Mermaid and explore coastal forests beside pristine ocean waters in this evocative Kimberley bay.

    MONTGOMERY REEF

    With changing tides, Montgomery Reef emerges dramatically at low tide. Explore by tender through cascading rock pools and riffles filled with marine life. Watch birds, turtles, dolphins and dugongs feed in this shifting reef ecosystem spectacle.

    DOUBTFUL BAY

    Discover Doubtful Bay’s remote beauty, climb up to Ruby Falls at Red Cone Creek and navigate rock formations to crystal freshwater pools. Enjoy light bushwalking and scenic swimming in a tranquil setting on this secluded stretch or alternatively take a scenic cruise of the area.

    HORIZONTAL FALLS & BUCCANEER ARCHIPELAGO

    Witness the rushing waters of Horizontal Falls from tenders, classed among the most incredible natural wonders. Then cruise the rugged Buccaneer Archipelago, visiting the Iron Islands before enjoying sunset drinks aboard the ship.

    LACEPEDE ISLANDS

    If tides and weather permit, explore the Lacepede Islands, a Class‑A nature reserve. Witness seabird rookeries and green turtle nesting zones, and glide through coastal lagoons aboard our tenders for an immersive wildlife experience.

    ARRIVE IN BROOME | DARWIN

    Arrive in Broome at 8:00 am or Darwin at 9:00 am and disembark. Transfers to hotels or airports are included. Extend your journey to explore Cable Beach, Chinatown, the waterfront, or Wave Pool at your leisure.

    The itinerary is based on travel from Broome to Darwin. Darwin to Broome itinerary operates in reverse.

CORAL ADVENTURER

Launched in April 2019, Coral Adventurer is a tropical expedition ship purpose-designed to access remote wilderness shores in Australia and internationally that are often inaccessible to large cruise vessels. Coral Adventurer embodies our Australian philosophy of adventure, relaxation, generosity, storytelling, and appreciation for the great outdoors. Carrying a maximum of 120 passengers –  Coral Adventurer is purpose-built to take you closer to unspoiled vistas in comfort, style, and safety.

CORAL DISCOVERER

Coral Discoverer is the smaller expedition yacht, designed to take you to destinations that are inaccessible to larger vessels. Her shallow draught and manoeuvrability make her highly versatile. She boasts ocean views from all public spaces, all outside-facing staterooms (some with balconies), and state-of-the-art tools for exploration including the Xplorer, zodiacs, a glass-bottom boat, and kayaks. Her Xplorer bar and adjacent sundeck lounge with 360-degree views are much-loved features. Carrying only 72 passengers, she offers an intimate expedition experience larger ships cannot replicate.

CORAL GEOGRAPHER

Launched in March 2021, Coral Geographer is the newest addition to the fleet, purpose-designed to access remote wilderness shores around the world that are often inaccessible to large cruise vessels. Sister ship to Coral Adventurer (launched in 2019), she has over 1000 square metres of open deck space, multiple bars, majority balcony staterooms and suites, and public areas featuring a collection of Australian Indigenous art. Coral Geographer explores the hidden nooks and crannies of Australia’s Kimberley Coast, Australia’s West and South coastlines and international voyages including to New Zealand, Sulawesi, Mauritius, and Zanzibar.
