   Be met on arrival in Berlin and transfer to your hotel. This evening get to know your Tour Director and fellow travellers at a Welcome Reception.

   Today, discover the vibrant city of Berlin on a guided sightseeing tour. Marvel at the iconic Brandenburg Gate and stroll along the historic Unter den Linden boulevard in the central Mitte district. Continue to bustling Alexanderplatz, then visit a preserved section of the Berlin Wall. Delve into the city’s Cold War history at Checkpoint Charlie, the former crossing point between East and West Germany, and its museum.

   Berlin, Dresden, Karlovy Vary

   Travel to Dresden and visit the Striezelmarkt, Germany’s oldest Christmas market. Continue on to the historic spa town of Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic. On arrival, visit the Christmas house, where beautifully decorated rooms, handcrafted ornaments and year-round festive displays celebrate Christmas traditions from around the world. This evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel.

   Enjoy a tour of Karlovy Vary today. Ride the historic funicular for panoramic views over the colonnades and river valley, discover the city’s renowned Bohemian craftsmanship at a glass museum, and then enjoy free time to soak up the atmosphere of the Christmas market, with its local treats, festive stalls and twinkling lights.

   This morning, travel to Munich, Germany. On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. This evening, you may wish to join an optional Bavarian dinner.

   Head to Salzburg today, stopping en route for a festive Insider Experience. Upon arriving in Salzburg, enjoy a city tour, followed by free time at the Christmas market before dinner at a local restaurant.

   Visit the Silent Night Chapel in Oberndorf, built on the site of the former Nikolauskirche church where the carol Silent Night was first performed on Christmas Eve in 1818.

    This evening, travel by coach to the Hungarian capital, Budapest. Settle into your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure to relax or explore at your own pace.

    Depart Budapest

    After breakfast, your tour concludes with a transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
